Expensive but this is an item longer than most regular packages. Is there not a more economical alternative available?

We understand your concern about the delivery fee — longer items unfortunately fall into a different shipping category, which makes them more expensive to send. We do check multiple courier systems to secure the best available rate for items over one metre, but warehouse handling rules mean these parcels are now classed differently and incur higher charges.
We’ll continue reviewing our carriers to see if any more economical options become available.

Can't fault the packaging (top notch). Everything is more expensive but still happy. Tracking with 2 hour window would be helpful. Ups didnt But DX global did.

We appreciate the note about tracking. Some couriers, like DX, provide a 2‑hour window, but others unfortunately don’t offer that level of detail. We’ll continue to use the best options available and keep improving wherever we can.

After I placed the order I was charged an international fee on my credit card and then a day later they wanted more money for the shipping so I cancelled the order and was still charged the international fee on my card.

Thank you for your message. We’re sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused.
To clarify, the international fee you were charged is applied by your bank or card issuer, not by Radioworld. This fee is taken automatically when a card provider processes a payment as an international transaction, and unfortunately we have no control over it. When an order is cancelled and refunded, the product cost is returned in full, but any bank‑applied international fees are not something we are able to refund, as they are not charged by us.
Regarding the postage difference, our system initially provides a basic estimated shipping amount at checkout. Once the order is reviewed manually, the correct courier rate is calculated based on the parcel’s size, weight, and destination. In this case, the actual shipping cost was higher than the automated estimate, which is why we contacted you before dispatch.
Your order has now been cancelled and refunded in full on our side.
If you need any documentation for your bank to query the international fee, we will be happy to provide it.
