On opening the box I was impressed at this 54" Inch mast with its thick heatshrink, With the mast being the length it is it will be requiring some support so having a good thick heatshrink any supporting structure is unlikely to bite through the heatshrink, Also, I found it to be quite rigid and strong, Now after being in use on a daily basis for almost a week the heatshrink is still completely unmarked, Ok, I admit it is not cheap,But, As the saying goes.... If it's quality you are looking for, Then expect to pay that little extra for it.... So I did and I got quality.
