I am a first time DIY user of this product. Because there has been a drought where I live, I must assume quality and effectiveness. This product does appear to be all it claims to be. I used this for a cove joint (mortar to basement slab). I tried to be very precise on measurements and application. The main issue I encountered was that the ElastiPoxy (even with the sand mixed in) kept moving from vertical. It has cured and I am confident that it will perform well.

Excellent product. We used this product before on a basement block wall with above excellent results, and actually talked to the company's engineering representative to make sure the product was correct for the job. We moved into another house and noted the garage block wall exhibited a hairline to 1/8 crack within the mortar and one block. Also had an area with a small hole that was leaking rain water into the garage through the block. Per directions, as we did before, the crack was V grooved and filled with this epoxy/sand mix. NOTE For good results follow the directions...no shortcuts! We waited until the temps were above 60 deg/dry and then let it cure 24 hours to be safe. Worked fantastic. Added a coat of drylock paint for insurance and done!
Not for the novice but if your knowledge and skills are average and above for construction projects, you'll do fine. Good preparation is key to success.
It is a very good product.
Easy to use with the instructions.
Just a bit expensive and messy. Wear old old clothes and shoes you don’t want anymore. Gets hard quick with sand and stops sticking but straight up allows whole application. When totally dry, feels like glass and I am pretty sure it will solve the problem. Time will tell.
Nearly impossible to use for vertical cracks. Will slump no matter how much sand you add to the mix. Works okay for horizontal cracks since it is self leveling.
Good product but make sure you allow longer time for ventilation as 12 hours after the expected drying time was up my smoke detectors went off and scared me as I was worried that I truly had a fire in my house, in the basement. Finished product looks great though.
Great product, I have used it a few times now and it performs great every time. Simple to mix and use. My only issue is the cost, it is expensive for the amount you get however it is one of the best products I have used for crack repair. This has been a "one and done" repair every time I have used it. So if you factor in the cost of the product for having it done the first time, rather the initial repair failing and having to do it again multiple times with other inferior products then it is justified.
Works very well
