I PURCHASED VERY SICK RAGDOLL KITTENS…

I PURCHASED VERY SICK RAGDOLL KITTENS FROM RITERAGS!!! I purchased my 2 beautiful male ragdoll kittens from RITERAGS in 2020. I thought I had done my research to assure I was purchasing from a reputable breeder…BUT I WAS SO WRONG!
My first boy passed away at around 3 1/2 years old. The veterinarian believed, based on his symptoms that he had a brain tumor. Almost overnight he stopped jumping up on anything, even low furniture. He then started behaving as if he couldn’t see I thought OMG my baby is going blind and within just a couple of months that was confirmed. I was absolutely devastated!!! I had to say goodbye to my beautiful fur baby 😭 When I called Debra, she gave little if any concern and actually said and I quote “at least you have another one”. Fast forward to about 3 months ago and his 5 year old brother had to be euthanized from what the vet said was an autoimmune disease where his body was attacking his red blood cells! He was literally bleeding out from his behind. I can’t unsee my fur baby caked in blood over his entire body. I can’t begin to tell you how devastating this whole experience has been for me 😭For the record, I have not spoken to the breeders about my second kitty because I haven’t been able to gather myself enough to do so!
Btw: they also started them on raw red meat and told me they would transition to the three different dry cat foods they recommended…A 50%, 25% and 25% mix along with the red meat they had them on. I had all of this ready for them and they NEVER EVER ate anything other than red meat. I tried every recommended brand of dry food and they NEVER EVER ate even one kibble of any brand. I of course had to keep them on raw red meat, so we not getting a balanced diet. If anyone wants to talk to me please reach out! I’m absolutely heartbroken 💔
