My first purchase from Railway Model Store. I signed up for their newsletter, and when I was looking for a particular locomotive I was delighted to see they had it at a competitive price. Added bonus of a new customer voucher and free delivery made it difficult to resist. My locomotive arrived safely within 48 hours well packaged and perfect. I will definitely be shopping with this company again. Loyalty points another bonus.

Cannot recommend RMS highly enough.

I signed up to the newsletter after considering making a layout, having never made one before. This came with a £10 off voucher which swung the deal.

I added items to my basket but didn't complete, they sent me a 5% off voucher overnight. I then placed 2 separate orders using both vouchers.

One order was delayed, on checking, one of my items was on pre-order, so I emailed and asked for them to part ship the order, which they did, no question.

The other order arrived in 2 packages, one labelled "do not bend" was pretty much folded in half. So I received some very bent track. Again, I emailed, and after some very reasonable negotiations I chopped the usable unbent bits of track off each piece and they happily replaced the rest free of charge.

Not to mention the packages came with another 5% off voucher.

Brilliant customer service, cannot recommend highly enough. Rather than leaving bad reviews customers just need to contact the company...! Both of my orders had "issues" but neither was a problem after communication!

I ordered a train bundle and seperate buffet carraige for my son in November for Christmas. I was expecting all the trains to arrive together before Christmas but they were separated only 3 of the 5 trains arrived. I found out that customs returned one of the packages to the shop because of an administration error and when i contacted the shop they said they would resend the package but it wouldn't arrive until after Christmas. As you could expect I was very dissappointed to say the least but to my suprise the package arrived on the Christmas eve which i was delighted with. I have to say the customer service was great and service was excellent, would highly recommend.

I ordered a Hornby wagon from RMS after receiving a £10 coupon via email. The item was delivered promptly, was well packed and as described. Overall, good stuff. However, postal charges are too steep. Most online model railway retailers charge between £3.50 -- £4.95 for delivery. RMS charged me £6.95 for a RM 48 delivery. At those sort of prices I'd think twice about placing another order.

N scale layout ordered and paid for on October 5th 2022 and still not received. There have been understandable delays with materials and then tools to build.
I was told the layout would be shipped on January 10th,2023. No notification received,no information on item or Parcelforce tracking number. No response to emails or telephone calls.
