The taste of Chardonnay was good
The taste of Chardonnay was good. Bought it for my son who is stopping drinking alcohol. He found it too sweet which is often with de-alcolised wine so I drank it.

While it’s a pity that you didn’t feel the wine quite merited a five-star rating, we do hope that our service itself was worthy of five stars.
We appreciate your comment regarding the sweetness of the wine — this is a common characteristic of many de-alcoholised wines. Alcohol contributes significantly to a wine’s body and structure, so when it is removed, additional body is often achieved through a small increase in residual sugar.
That said, we personally believe that Lautus stands out as producing the finest de-alcoholised wines currently coming out of South Africa, and it would certainly earn five stars from us.

I’ve been searching for a non alcoholic…
I’ve been searching for a non alcoholic red wine for a while, this is the first wine that I can honestly say tastes like wine and not fruit juice. The flavour of the tannins and the grapes come through the only reason I have given 4 stars is because it still needs to be improved slightly so that you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between non alcohol to the alcohol wine, although, I would highly recommend this wine. The delivery was quick and it was packaged well.
