I purchased a 'Complete check' from Rapidcarcheck for a car in July 2024. In the check the section for Finance detailed 'No finance found'. I made the decision to purchase this car based on this information.

I have learned today that the car has outstanding finance and an proper HPI check revealed the full details.

Rapidcarcheck directs you to Totalcarcheck when looking into their so called 'data guarantee'. I expect no joy on this based on other reviews showing no response to complaints and the contact form on the Rapidcarcheck site returning and error every time I tried to submit a message.

The checks provided by the likes of these companies appear to be a scrape of some available data but not the full picture. Information such as finance and insurance write-offs are the whole point of background checks.

These checks are nothing more than a scam, avoid at all costs.

Free report system doesn't work, keeps stating verify email to see report when its already verified, potentially an intentional glitch to make you pay or rubbish programming. wouldn't recommend

Edit based on feedback, verification emails received and account verified by the link. My point being that even. After this is done the free reports sat waiting in my account won't open as they require 'account verification'. They can't even understand their own systems failing. There are so many other companies out there offering a service that works. Give those a go instead.

It appears they they have been displaying trust pilot information on their website in a misleading way too, trust pilot just told me that they have discovered this. I'd assume listing that they have higher or more reviews than they do.

Rapid car check is a brilliant site to do a second hand used car check before buying I have used them multiple times and have never had issues with them and they show many different search categories.

the website is difficult to use, I bought 3x delux check, it works for 1st time, now for 2nd time it wont work. Also the website always has bugs, I would recommend to use other website instead.
