The invoice appeared to be charging VAT which is not chargeable in Jersey and I then paid our own tax, (Goods and Services Tax) and an enormous charge for carriage, The parcel arrived by DHL when the Royal mail would have cost a lot less

Hi John, Thank you for your purchase with Rapid Marine. I am sorry that you feel the delivery costs were too high but we only use DHL and DPD as delivery companies. I know we pay a premium for these companies but the service is second to none. Both companies have a full tracking facility and do an end to end service which is important for all deliveries.
I have checked your invoice and you were not charged any VAT from us however you would of paid the necessary duties for Jersey.
We take pride in the service we give but do understand everyone is looking for the cheapest deals in these times.
If you wish to use us again then please contact me directly and I will work out the best option for you. If you order via the website everything is automatically charged and I can change things.

Our company Superyacht Marine Store and Superyacht PWC has been working with Rapid Marine to supply equipment for distribution to our clients for coming up to 10 years now, during this period they have just got better and better; with an innovative and desirable product range that meets are clients needs. The service they offer us as a distributor couldn't be better with good stock levels and speedy delivery times. Neal (Operations Manager) is always on hand to answer technical questions/queries, Mike (Managing Director) is always working on ideas for new products to meet the industries needs and requirements. It has been and still is a pleasure doing business with Rapid Marine.
