Anis and Nasar have just dropped me back at my home, after a stressful afternoon, with no answer from either RAC or AA, and 2 other local firms. Polite from the first call, to arrival and drop off... See more

Absolutely dreadful service, I called Rapid Road Help on 07414 733409 in the late afternoon, I explained I had a broken down Jaguar iPace an all electric car with a flat battery, I had an existing Recovery company who couldn't move it, and required some specialist equipment, they confirmed that have all the expensive equipment required to move my vehicle, and that I needed to pay £200 deposit via SUMUP and they would text me the number of the recovery driver from 07482 554747, and that my recovery driver would arrive at my house for 8:00am to move my broken down vehicle. I started calling Rapid Road Help on all 3 numbers at 8:00am, by10:30am with no returned calls, I was convinced Rapid Road Help was a scam, At 10:45 the recovery driver called me and explained he'd been working late and that he would be with me in 5 minutes. The recovery driver couldn't move my vehicle. He left, explaining that he needed some specialist equipment, Rapid Road Help finally called me shortly after he'd left, explaining that the driver would return with the specialist equipment. The driver did return 10 minutes later, but he still couldn't move my Jaguar iPace. I tried calling Rapid Road Help multiple times (to complain that after 2 visits they still hadn't moved my Jaguar iPace), at lunch time I finally gave up and called an independent local garage to move my car and I paid them for moving my car. I then returned to calling Rapid Road Help multiple times and left dozens of answer messages asking Rapid Road Help for a refund, but they didn't return my calls. I finally received a call from 07482 554747 at 22:30, explaining they had been incredibly busy.
The owner said I'm entitled to a 30% refund, because even though they couldn't move my iPace, the same car they told me they could move, they can earn appearance money. I've since been told they treat every job seriously, but my findings were that they wouldn't answer or return my calls, and I now understand that I've apparently provided incorrect and incomplete information; I specifically told Rapid Road Help that an existing recovery driver couldn't move my Jaguar iPace, it's got a completely flat battery and needs specialist equipment to move it, and Rapid Road Help confirmed they had the equipment, but it appears they either didn't have the equipment or they didn't have the technical wherewithal to move my Jaguar iPace, they wasted my time and they want me to pay appearance money, for turning up and not doing their job.
Rapid Road Help have now explained they have paid the driver they sent to not move my car, the driver is local to me, I've since spoken to him this is the first and will be the last time he's accepted a job from Rapid Road Helpand, he's also confirmed, that he's not expecting any payment from Rapid Road Help, he also believes Rapid Road Help are a scam.
Rapid Road Help have now also explained that the reason their driver they appointed couldn't move my Jaguar iPace is because of other issues I failed to mention, when I first called Rapid Road Help, I explained I'd appointed a Recovery company to recover my Jaguar iPace and take to my local Jaguar dealer, but they couldn't move it, and they needed some specialist equipment and a large truck (my fully electric iPace is very heavy), Rapid Road Help confirmed they have invested in all the equipment required, and this is why they are expensive, but when there appointed driver appeared, he confirmed he'd not been advised of any specialist equipment requirements or indeed that the car was a fully electric EV.
Finally Rapid Road Help advised me that the only way they can provide a refund is by asking for my bank account details, anti money laundering advice is that as the Merchant, you should use the same payment method to pay a client as you did to receive funds from the client, and the same advice is given for the purchaser, anything else is considered potential money laundering activity or scam, and for Rapid Road Help , I'm convinced they are a scam.
