First (and last) experience with Rappi

I found an excellent deal on a hotel so joined Rappi and tried to book it. There was an error numerous times that said my information was not correct. Once I figured out what they wanted, I tried to use my credit card to book. They said the payment information was not correct. I redid it and it seemed to work. I got a confirmation of a booking. Hours later my booking was cancelled with the reason my payment information was not correct. I checked my credit card and not just one but two transactions were there. I immediately contacted them to resolve the issue and get refunded for both transactions. I sent them proof so they could clearly see there was 2 that were posted on my card within 20 minutes of each other. They say that they will only refund me for the one I got the hotel confirmation for not the fraudulent one they charged without me knowing. Beware...this company is not trustworthy. It may be good for food as I have heard (but will not try) however if you plan to use the Rappi Travel, don't be tempted by the prices. It will cost you much more in the long run!! It has been a week now and no sign of a refund for either charge.

Fraud

This company will rob you blind I ordered the order was late the order was wrong and I paid the driver in cash when I tried to contact customer service the only way I could contact them was through the app was never able to talk to anyone any kept bringing me around with the same automatic answers issue was never resolved in my cash was never returned, I've traveled a lot and these company by far is the worst company I have ever dealt with, do not use this service, you will regret it.
I gave it a one star, because I was unable to give it a zero star rating.

I usually never write a bad review

I usually never write a bad review. The problem I have encountered is they will verify your credit card by charging a small amount and they never reverse it.
They will also charge two amounts for the same order, claim they've processed a credit for one, and it never is credited to your account.

I wish I could rate 0 stars

I wish I could rate 0 stars. For the past week ive been trying to place an order in cash or by card. The orders will go through and when the delivery is on the way the order is then canceled. Try to contact customer service (no response). I tried again last night and my account was permanently locked out (with no reasoning). I contact customer service and they said they can't tell me why for data privacy rights... absolute b.s.... Don't deal with them to save yourself the time and headache.

I am tired of seeing these damn adds on YouTube. That is the quickest way to convince me never purchase your products/services. Garbage companies shoving something down my throat. This company is garbage and the drivers are wreckless thieves who speed and drive erratically just to deliver junk to some fat person who is to lazy to walk to a market and buy real food. Advertising this with some mediocre artist and corny hip-hop references like thats going to help. This whole thing is just a disgusting mess

I cannot recommend rappi the cancel my order because I use a foreign card. But uh they where super helpful with creating a rappi payment. When greed is obvious I just get offended. I deleted their app. And will never use them again. I now use the restaurants own delivery. So rappi clinga tu madres

Liars. No free month delivery

Both last night and today I was charged very high delivery fees plus high service fees. They say you get one month free delivery but it is a total lie. I'm deleting the app and will never use them again.

This is the worst delivery service ive ever used. The service is VERY Poor, non-existent. No communication, cancelled orders for no reason. Deleted off my cell. RUN, AVOID This application.

ABSOLUTELY WORST delivery service

ABSOLUTELY WORST delivery service. Their support team are a joke. I made an order from a nearby supermarket. The Rappi delivery driver exchanged a 32 roll of toilet paper for 8 rolls and did not get the cookies I ordered. The Rappi brought me the new receipt that he was charged by the supermarket which was a third of the original cost. When I checked my account, I was charged for the entire original order. I contacted support with a copy of the receipt the driver sent me. This thieves responded that I did not comply with their policies so I was not getting my money back. In what world is it okay for a platform to steal your money tell you that you did not comply with some terms they refuse to disclose and refuse to discuss the matter further. I am not pressed for money but it is my damned money and I have never seen or experienced such blatant theft by a company in my life. I hope they suffer a class action lawsuit again, that makes them answer for their crimes. Friggin cowards font even allow commentary in their social media because they know that they suck! I am furious!

They are another Colombian business…

They are another Colombian business that will rob you through credit card fraud. The refunds never go through, Rappi claims it can take 10 days, 20 days, even a month. They never end up going through and once it has been long enough, they just say the refund shows went through on their end and I must gather all this bank documentation that takes hours just to be denied. Welcome to COLOMBIA!

Never received the refund they promised me

When I was living in Colombia, one of the Rappi delivery people stole a big grocery order I did for a Christmas dinner I was hosting.

While customer support was attentive to offer me to pay me back, after numerous back and forth, the promised refund never.

They claimed they had refunded me, but I never received any money.

That led me to investigate their refunds altogether (for other orders when an item would be forgotten or unavailable) and noticed that none of the refunds ever landed into my account.

I stopped using the service and have been much more satisfied with alternative services available.

Appalling service... Among the worst I have ever seen.

Their system is unbelievably badly designed. After registering, etc, etc, providing details of my debit card AND having a small amount taken from my account to confirm the card was mine, I spent over tree hours trying to place an order (supermarket shopping) and all I get is a message saying that there were "suspicious" activities in my account. No emails sent to me about that, nothing that I can do. Only a customer service whose reply is expected in 72h... Yes, all they offer is a 72h expected time for a reply!!! I have never seen anything like this. Their standards of service are rock bottom... And note that according to the purchase I was trying to make, they would be charging over 5% of the total value of the order for "service" (and this is in addition to the delivery charge and cost of goods).... Appalling is the only word I can use to describe it.
