I actually like the company and your prices. My only complaint is that by breaking up (international) orders into their component parts, it can be well over a week between the first item arriving and the last one arriving. I understand breaking up larger orders into 2 or 3 packages to avoid customs fees or higher shipping fees, but I do not understand shipping each item completely separately.

Rarewaves delivers their stuff just fine but their shipment times are atrocious to mainland Europe. It takes weeks of waiting, like they're strapping these boxes to actual snails. HMV f.e. ships so much faster.

Selectively cancelled my order due to "website issues" with no explanation or response, while letting other people's exact same orders through
June 19 Update: it's now been 24 hours since Rarewaves support responded here, indicating they would respond to my multiple emails about cancelled order. So far no follow up from them

I was a bit sceptical as Rarewaves was new for me. Though I gave it a try. Shipping was a bit long but that hasn't surprised me as it was from UK to EU.
Unfortunately local post office decided it needs to complete customs procedure. I had to pay taxes second time. However when I sent all necessary documents to rarewaves they were very helpful and resolved this in day or two. I will definitely buy more from them.

I had concerns with receiving a product that didn't arrive after 3 week waiting. When I messaged customer services they immediately dealt with my issue and sent a replacement, this also took a long time to get to me but I had several conversation with Afroditi who reassured me that I would eventually receive my item, which I did.
I was impressed with how Afroditi dealt with me in a friendly and professional way, I felt that I had trust in him. Having worked in an environment where I was first contact with customers I am aware of how this reflects on company perception.
Well done Afroditi and well done Rarewaves. I will continue purchasing with you with the knowledge that I need to be patient and that I will be able to to resolve any difficulties if I need to contact customer service

Not so with Rarewaves... but still a Tracking number would relieve a lot of tension :)

I ordered a present for my nieces birthday which was despatched on 21st May with Whistl. I was provided with tracking details for Whistl. On the 27th May it was apparently passed to another carrier so no further tracking was available to me. However I was advised to expect delivery in 3 to 5 days. Item not received so I contacted rarewaves. Told they were confident it would be delivered by 12th June.( well after the birthday) again item not delivered so I contacted company and asked for cancellation. Was asked to wait 3 more days. Which I did, still no delivery so contacted again to request cancellation as now 25 days since dispatch. Denied cancellation and refund asked to wait until end of week then recontact and they will look again. Absolutely atrocious customer service. Some of messages ignored and not acknowledged. Still no item tracking or offer of refund. I would suggest avoid at all costs
