Report Rarible to the FTC
We need to report Rarible to the FTC. There is no upfront information about how they charge you. You are asked to create an account with an ETH wallet of their choice. That is fine (I chose MEW which is also terrible bc they took more than half of my $50 in fees). Then when you are publishing you NFT, they take a small fee (which you do see how much it is upfront). Then after they take that, you are asked to pay a fee literally 10x. So I paid $14 worth of ETH then the next step asked for about $150... When I reached out to their support they told me things like "we are sorry you don't understand" and "recommend researching something before getting financially involved." I am disgusted. They need to be investigated.
rarible.com untrustworthy
they are scammers i bought nfts that dont show up in my collection so they are stealing crypto and not giving you acess to your nft .beware
Rarible.com
Rarible.com - pure scamm, nothing works, NFT never published, paid over 100 Usd gas fee just for nothing.
support doesnt answer, SCAMM
The support is awful
The support is awful. I asked months ago how to delete my account. A month after that I get a response about the delay. I no longer wish to delete my account - so I respond immediately asking them to no longer help me with my request. Another month goes by, to the exact day, and I get another email about a delay and that they will move forward with deleting my account. They disregarded my response, yet they tell me if I have any questions or concerns to reply to their email- which I did. I really don’t wish for them to delete my account, but they don’t even read what I have to say and they make me wait months just to see if they had. Their support team has provided me much more anxiety, repeatedly, than what I had before I requested assistance. I’m not happy... I’m not even remotely satisfied with the service. The site isn’t bad. But I’m reviewing their service. I wouldn’t work with them again just because they keep me in the dark about my own account’s lifespan... month to month.
Screw this site
Screw this site. It's the worst. Robbed of money. Barely works.
Thieves! - Run (do not walk) away!
All you read about the negative side of Rarible appears to be true. I tried to verify my account, but couldn't until I paid to load my first NFT. over $100 all in for loading fees and "gas" and then I see that my verification has been "DECLINED!" These people are thieves.
They robbed me too
They robbed me too, very similar story, they charged me 3 times and then didn't approve my videos! 18 days, stalling to pay me back. Unbelievably slow responses.

Their platform has really nice UI and UX, but there are serious issues with uploading NFTs, like the platform ignores if you want the NFT be biddable or not. I end up spending money, their support never answered, the verification process does not work, you can’t get a badge, they want some banner for your page to be verified, but there are tones of ppl running without a background.
I would suggest to use alternatives.
DO NOT USE RARIBLE
DO NOT USE RARIBLE. WHEN MINTING YOUR NFT IT IS A 1-10% CHANCE THAT IT WILL BE LISTED ONCE THE TRANSACTION GOES THROUGH, YOU WONT GET YOUR MONEY BACK.. TRUST ME!
Waiting for service...avoid
Tried minting my first token...on first attempt no confirmation stated the minting process was accepted. I checked again and the fee had gone way up, somehow I authorized it again...as I was trying -and unable- to cancel the transaction in process, I found on my fees transactions that it had already been processed, thus I paid twice...And finally, when the token was minted, it also does not function! I have been waiting a week for customer service and wish they would get back with me. At this point, I would strongly advise against using Rarible.com and would recommend trying a different platform.
Stay away!
Rarible took Eth from my wallet and made my art unsearchable and "not on sale". I submitted a support request about it days ago...radio silence.
robbed me for $57.00 in ETH.
They asked me for $57.00 in ETH when I went to create and mint my NFT they then kept asking for more $$.
the ETH I sent never appeared in my rarible acct even though I can see it went somewhere in my coinbase acct. they then lost my rarible account after I had put in my personal info and switched my coinbase wallet to another account I do not recognize,
I have been warned that this could be a honeypot scam . so now I lost my $$ and I definitely feel unsafe in reconnecting my coinbase to them again.
they also did not verify me even though I have the S.M creds nor responded and they still have not contacted me after all this other switching acct buisness and my missing ETH. this IS smelling like a SCAM here.
STAY AWAY
Rarible will charge you to mint your NFT and to post your artwork for sale. What they don't tell you is this: Rarible will not actually post your work so that prospective buyers can find it. They will allow you to mint your NFT thinking they will post it for sale and will allow you to pay all of their fees while telling you they will post it for sale, but your art will not show up anywhere on their pages and will not be searchable. It will be locked away to rot and die.
They want you to "verify" your account. In order to verify, the questions they ask are for your social media links (because no one lies on social media, right?). Not everyone is infatuated with social media. How about I send you my identification and if I scam some one, you know how to find me? Easy enough.
Verification is based upon one's social…
Verification is based upon one's social networking and whatever their whim, not the intrinsic appeal of one's art. Further, gas fees are through the ceiling and user support is an absolute mirage! Also beware of their website! Accidentally push a button to explore features and you are charged even more gas.
Wow rarible.com is scamming artists!!
Wow. I NEVER leave reviews like this.. but this is insane. They are defrauding already vulnerable people out of money. I am an artist who is poor and going blind, so I thought that this site would help get my digital art noticed.. I was willing to pay to fee of $22 to have my art listed.. but when I did that, they turned around and said they needed $115+ more!! With no way to get my much needed $22 back!! They still haven't listed my artwork and support won't reply back! If you're not already rich like beeple, AVOID this fraud site!!
Paid for nothing
I paid $ 11 in transaction fee from 0.00 eth of transfer after declining payment (they were asking $ 77 in eth) while trying to upload an art I created. To be avoided absolutely.
Total rip off, non transparent and expensive
So tried to help my wife setup an account, had to create an account with ETH, then link then upload - and the same experience as others here - was not clear what you had to pay for, a simple short video cost multiple times, went through and nothing showed up. The Token cost was expensive and no way to adjust it. Software flaky and dealing with their support is a Joke. Do not waste you money
