Wasn't sure how I was going to choose a realtor from the hundreds available locally and I started with Google reviews like everyone does but of course google simply has an overall 5 star rating process and a space for a review. How could I know if the realtor I chose was familiar with my type of property? Or if they would even care to put in the effort when I was in a low income area? I could *hope* to find reviews that touched on that but it was a task of finding occasional hints at a possible needle by combing through the haystack of thousands of reviews.
Thankfully I found Rate My Agent, and it was through this site that I was able to make a confident choice thanks to the specific details they request. Unlike google, Rate My Agent breaks it down so you can individually rate multiple steps/areas of the process, and asks reviewers for non-personal specifics, and has a space for a review. So I was able to see that the realtor I was searching for had worked with other sellers for my type of property, at my propertvalue level, yand see how they felt that realtor had performed. I ended up with an excellent realtor who went above and beyond my highest expectations, and a professional and stress-free experience. I definitely plan on using Rate My Agent again when it's time to purchase!

The agent I was connected with showed us one property. We asked for information on some other ones. Within a day or two of requesting this information the properties were sold. Two weeks ago I asked the agent a question which was not answered:
"What are we missing if properties are in the market for a couple of days and they get sold before we even get any information about them?"
