Appointments on time. Staff and optician very polite and helpful.

Not the cheapest optician but certainly one of the best I have used. I have now been a regular for the last few years and intend to continue to do so.
The reception staff are very professional and friendly and the optometrists are exceptionally knowledgable and helpful.

I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Excellent service. I had previously been advised that my cataracts were getting to the stage where they would need attention. I decided to go ahead and had the cataracts in both eyes removed in January and had a follow up appointment with Kim last week. She gave me a thorough eye examination for new glasses and recommended varifocals to correct the vision in my right eye due to my astigmatism and my near vision in both eyes. I then saw the reception staff who recommended frames and styles of glasses and these are now on order. All of my dealings with the staff at Rawlings were dealt with in the most friendly, caring and professional way and I would thoroughly recommend this practice to everyone.

Each procedure was fully explained step by step. Consideration given to my comfort. Time allowed for questions and thorough answers given.

Easy to book online and follow-up call was useful to understand what to expect and advise of cost and pre-treatment.
No waiting around for appointment and process itself was painless and took all of 2 mins max for micro suction of one ear.
Expensive but well worth it for immediate relief!

I'm a Kim and Kerry Groupie, having followed both from Winchester to Arlesford, Alton and now Chandlers Ford over the past thirteen years. I cannot praise either enough. Kim is a first class optometrist, having spotted an issue last year that required a (successful) eye operation. She is also patient and never tells me what I can or can’t see (which I hate with a vengeance). Kerry knows which glasses will suit both my face and my lifestyle more than I do myself and doesn’t hesitate to tell me so (which I very much like). And the staff at Chandlers Ford are efficient and welcoming. I wouldn’t go anywhere else; and, in my humble opinion, nor should you Dear Reader.

It was painless and took just a few minutes. It was such a relief afterwards to be able to hear again! I really appreciated the advice beforehand to use Earol which is a great product. I had never been to Rawlings before, but decided to give them a go. The day I popped in to the Chandler's Ford branch explaining the issues I had with my hearing, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They booked me an appointment for that afternoon for a check-up. The gentleman I then saw was excellent and very quickly identified compacted wax, provided an olive oil spray and re-booked me for the following week for microsuction. On returning, Jeanette was superb, demonstrated and explained how the equipment worked, then set about successfully removing the wax so professionally I hardly felt a thing. The resultant difference in my hearing was instant and incredible. I feel so much better for it and wish I had gone to Rawlings much sooner. Excellent all round service - highly recommended.

The friendliness and efficiency of the staff has for many years been an integral part of the experience.
I felt as if nothing was too much trouble, but there was also time for a laugh, joke, and good humour.
