Used them for 2025 on our home and it was a decent enough experience. Fast forward to today and apparently without any email reminder or mailed notification they decided to protest on my behalf again. Well that’s a problem because I sold that house and no longer own it.

I emailed them and they said that since I didn’t send a written cancelation request that they expect payment and I could reach out to the new owner to see if they would pay me.

Went from reputable to an immediate scam company in my book and I would be very cautious about them if you decide to use them. They don’t make any notifications unless it’s a bill, they figured out how to send that email.

We have used Ray Tax Group for years and dealt with consistent underperformance against neighborhood benchmarks.  Heard from neighbors and friends how much more responsive, complete, and component another group was and switched.  Unfortunately, we forgot to send a written confirmation to Ray as there is no cancellation option in their portal.  While an expensive mistake for this year, totally worth it to work with a group that actually has systems in place.  Let this serve as a notice to everyone to cancel via email!
