Amazon Canada supports scammers not costumers

Too bad there no zero Stars for Amazon Canada because that would be my ranking for it because they support the scammers not the people they make money on. It’s a shame. I been with Amazon from the day they opened.
Order ID: 702-6557184-8566642. This is the reason for this review. I purchased a mud flaps for my 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander and the Amazon verified that they will fit my car. After receiving them I noticed right away that they incredibly small, probably won’t fit a mini car. All 4 mud flaps were the same. Front mud flaps in my car should have a different designs than the back ones. So I know that they will not fit my car. I requested a refund from the seller and been granted a return label. But the return label came unpaid and without tracking ID. It also was asking to provide a “ Mary Contact needed before send otherwise reject” So I went to Canada Post to send the package back to the seller. The Canada Post clerk can’t explain what a Mary contact is. They advise to contact Amazon before sending it because she said the parcel will be probably rejected. l contacted Amazon about this issue and asked them to explain what is a Mary Contact? They failed to answer that question also but asked me to send a package anyway, and send the copy of the receipt to them. Here the transcript of our conversation:

Sakthi has joined and will be ready to chat in just a minute.
Once you return it, please send the image of the return shipping receipt to "*******@amazon.ca" from your registered email.

One more question. By return you mean when I ship the product back not if the seller will accept the package? Because clearly that label is asking for something that even the shipping company can’t answer the question about Mary contact. And what about the amount what I paid for the item?
No worry. Once you return the items, the refund will be added to your account within 7 business days.
If the refund not issued, please contact back us. We'll file A to Z claim to issue full refund.
Guess what? The claim been denied from A to Z because I am not eligible.
But look at this. Eligibility Conditions from their website:
The item you received is damaged, defective, or not as described, AND you have requested a return more than 48 hours ago.
You wanted to return an item but the seller didn't provide one of the following: • A prepaid return label (with a valid tracking ID).
So, according to their website I am totally eligible for the warranty plus I sent them a receipt that I sent the package back but they refused to pay me back the shipping cost. I did what your employee instructed me to do. So they know that that seller is a scammer and they chose to support him not me, they refuse to look into this. They just blindly denied that.
Conclusion for this.
I have an Amazon Mastercard which I will close together with my Amazon account because if they can’t protect their costumers I can’t and won’t buy from Amazon anymore either.

Worst delivery & worst "customer…

Worst delivery & worst "customer service"! I've worked in the business in the past & this is NOT how you do business or treat customer service! No easily accessible way for people to talk with a real person without a phone call (hearing impaired). No such thing as hassle-free with them and charging you for having to return an item that they delayed then when it hasn't even shipped yet say you can't cancel but get charged for returning it later (if it even shows up). It shows on their site product is available in a few days and continues to say that not notifying anyone of backorders. Number one rule of sales under promise and overdeliver well these guys do the exact opposite.

Delivery is catastrophic

Delivery instructions ignored since 2 years and 20 calls. Today driver left 3 packages in the snow. While snow storm is going on and packages are covered, incl ceiling lights. The porch is one more step. Customer service incompetent and unable, Amazon is unable but sells prime and gets paid.
Amazon is elite. Reasonable exchange of goods and delivery for money seems to be too much to ask. Service, follows direction for delivery is hurting the pride of the drivers?
Jeff Bezos, back to the drawing board. Get it right.

Frustration and fraud: cancelling an ad-on bundle to Amazon prime videos

I wanted to cancel an "add-on" to Amazon Prime Video. The add-on is called "Britbox"
(i.e. a curated set of extra movies and series added to the basic Amazon Prime.)
It was super easy to add Britbox but incredibly difficult to cancel.
Britbox cost $10.49 per month.
I had tried to cancel several times previously and today I decided that I was tired of wasting my money and I was going to figure it out. There are instructions on how to cancel:
"go into Amazon Account and press settings channels icon" etc
These lengthy instructions were impossible to follow. The buttons did not exist either on my cell phone or on my laptop. Finally I phoned the Amazon help line: 1-888-280-4331 and discussed the matter with an agent who insisted that my husband had to authorise the cancelation.
NB: My husband is not on my account!!! I have been with Amazon for decades. I pay the bills.
Also he is out of range at the moment.
I kept asking the agent to escalate. After about half an hour of quibbling, and her telling me that she absolutely could not escalate, she finally escalated me to a really nice woman who cancelled Britbox.
In my opinion it is fraudulent that signing up to Prime add-ons is super easy while cancellation is nearly impossible.
I was ready to change my credit card number just to be able to cancel.
Do NOT add any bundle to Amazon Prime Video!!!!!

If I could place a zero on my review

If I could place a zero on my review, I would. The greeter robot is infinitely annoying. When I finally got through (for some obscure reason my phone number wasn't in the system and I ever got the code by email), the customer service representative I spoke with was rude, inattentive, and had to gul to say to me that what I was telling him was impossible. I must admit however that this is the first time that I get such bad customer service. Although I agree that at times, in the past, Amazon only charged for a product once it's been delivered. But this time, this wasn't the case. The CSD rep. insisted I call my bank because they were the ones who placed a hold on my account. I finally hung up on him I was so frustrated. So I called my bank and sure enough they did not place a hold. The charge was from Amazon. And I want my money back. Long and the short of it, is that dealing with Amazon's customer service has become a pain in the you know where. We pay more money and get less service. And I'm sick of it. So I will deal as little as possible with Amazon from now on. I will find a way to acquire the products I need from another supplier (I can think of 2 in Canada) and close my Amazon account.

Scam text after placing order

I recently placed a order and then immediately after got a scam text msg from a unknown number about a undelivered package, please update your informatiom. I have nothing undelivered and its amazing how literally a couple mins after placing my amazon order i got this scam text. Amazon needs to step up security big time. I dont like that anyone seems to have access to my info from them. Another thing that is odd and may not be related but, i had two random emails somehow added to my etransfer list on my bank account. So I'd really appreciate amazon contacting me and investigating this.

Can I do -5 as a rating

Can I do -5 as a rating? The customer service is not as good as US. Who are the CS managers and do the CEOs care that the service sucks? Amateurs!

The customer service is like going through a website labyrinth and when I finally got through (after an hour) with an agent (hallelujah!) on the phone, they just lied to me and said that the change was done when really, they did nothing to fix the problem. They did not send confirmation, just charged credit card and my problem wasn't resolved. I had to call back and check and try to resolve issue again.

What I expected from AMAZON was an easy immediate transaction/delivery. What I got was a fiasco of calling customer services, waiting for hours, canceling transactions, rearranging delivery times, redoing the order just to find to that the driver was going to be done at a time that really does not suit me, and the cherry on top was - feeling bad that someone blatantly lied to me! NEGATIVE 5 Rating!

The Canadian team do NOT know Customer Service!! I hate using AMAZON CANADA. And the PRIME isn't worth it either!!

AmazonCA MEAN&UNCARING Customer Service Agents

Stay away from this company if you are disabled. They are a terrible company. They treated me like trash. I am disabled and they did not care 0% caring and helping a disbled person get her package picked up for a return! 000000000000
This story is too long to repeat as I have told at least 10 agents at Amazonca but they could care less. Here is run down:

I cannot drive take bus etc.. no relatives or friends to rely on so i had to return a pair of manatobah mukluks that came without the authenticiy certificate. I could tell boots had already been returned by someone because there was a frayed lace that pom pom is hanging on and tape where certificate was still there but with no MM authetic certificate. I tried to return and called Amazon and at first they told me there was no option for me to have someone pick them up even though i am disabled. After calling again I got a woman who said there was an option, INTELCOM. I had dealt with this company before and know they are the worst of the worse delivery/pickup people--maybe in the world. They have absolutely NO business standards! Well after keeping me waiting two days straight all day long first day I had to cancel and MRI which cost me $50 to cancel (i did not know there was a last minutie cancel fee) because INTELCOM did not show up in the 3 hour window they gave me. This was the first day of my nightmare. They kept sending me emails; 3 hour window your driver whats his face will be there. No worries. Second update email: we have been delayed and 6-7 hours later: email saying postponed your delivery, so sorry. Pleae follow link to reschedule which i did and does not work. Called Amazon and treated like abosolute crap. They kept on transferring me to agent to agent where I would have to repeat/repeat. Last agent could not find my account due to me not giving him correct address. After a half hour he tells me to go into my account and read address as is exactly written in account address info, I do and presto he found my account. The other agents I spoke to had found my account immediately so do not know what that was about? He helped and set up another pick up with Inelcom for 2 days later which is Sunday (yesterday) and same thing happened at same time of days regarding Intelcom emails and final postponement email. I called Amazon again told story and 1st girl hung up on me. Second girl said nothing she could do for me as Intelcom a third party contractor. I said but it is Amazon who has contracted them out. She said cannot help me and call Intelcom which in reply I told her I had at least 4 times talked to agents over there and Intelcom told me they are sorry blah blah blah but no way to contact drivers. So keep on rescheduling and eventually they will pick up the package. On this last try Sunday, yesterday while talking to one of the 3 Amazon agents she said they had tried to deliver. I told her this was absolutely untrue. They had my phone number, my buzzer number, text, and email and they just postponed on me via email. She said they stated trouble with driveway. I told her I live in condo and there is no driveway. Intelcom lies. lastly I asked to be transferred to accessibility department at Amazon; this was the worst experince talking to this horrid woman as the woman told me just to get someone to drive me to post office and do it this way. She did not care that I would have to take a taxi with wheelchair or cane depending how bad off I was on this day, the wait lineups are insane at postoffice. Plus taxi would cost 30$ round trip. she did not care about my disablility and while i was talking to her she disconnected me.

I will just keep the boots. The stress of this has left me crying anddepressed. For two day I was unable to take my meds which i had to NOT take so I would not fall asleep and miss delivery person. So in too much pain from not taking them!

I will never order any big ticket item from Amazon again they are a uncaring greedy company with people/agents that truly do not care about the individual person they are talking to. Beware!

Stay away from Amazon.ca.

Stay away from Amazon.ca

They don't care about their customers at all .

I ordered a mini PC . A one time password was supposed to be sent to me on the day of delivery for the delivery to be completed. I waited for it and never received that email with the password.
Either that password had to be given to the delivery driver or the last two digits of the account phone number or a signature from the customer for the delivery to be completed.

I received a notice that the delivery had been delivered to my parents address who are retired that sat at home all day waiting for this so it wouldn't be left out in public somewhere. I don't think it ever got delivered because they never received a call from the lobby to buzz anyone in. They immediately went and checked their door and of course nothing was there.

I tried contacting customer service who told me to call the police which I already did yesterday , police told me that they don't have the resources to possibly attend to every complaint of a stolen Amazon package I contacted Amazon and explained this to them.

I was told by SAPNA in customer service to contact the police which I told her I had done and they would not help me and told me to contact Amazon directly they then told me that there's nothing that they can do and I'm now out $400 Amazon does not care about you or your purchases they do nothing to protect them from thieves.

Packages are constantly left out in public for anyone to see or not delivered at all and stolen by the delivery driver , you can take a Google search right now and see in BC Canada about Amazon drivers charged with stealing packages but Amazon continues still to do nothing to protect their customers hard-earned purchases. Absolutely disgusting company.

From now on I will only go to Brick and mortar stores I'm canceling my Amazon Prime after this month that I paid for is done and I will no longer shop with this degenerate company.

I save money for 4 months to buy this computer I did everything possible in my power for it to be delivered safely and not get stolen by either the public or the delivery driver. And of course Amazon does nothing about it.

No expiration date anywhere on pet food bags....

(After receiving the16lbs bag, I wrote to Iams Canada about the fact that there was no expiration date anywhere....There is on it a white sticker that says NEWITEM (written in one word) . I was not seeing any review here on Amazon Canada about this anywhere, so - due to this - I took a chance in buying a bag anyway. Here is what Iams Canada replied to my concern:
"Hi Sylvie.. That sticker is not where we would normally put our expiration date. I suspect that may be a label placed on the bag by the retailer. Our best by date and product number is typically near the top or the bottom of the bag. It's generally white lettering on the orange bag. I don't see the date in any of the pictures you provided. We would not recommend using it if you can't find a date. There isn't any way to tell if it is fresh without that marking.I would suggest returning the bag to Amazon for a replacement.

Best wishes!
IAMS Pet Parent Partner Team."

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. AMAZON HAS SERIOUSLY GONE IN THE CRAPPER. IT WOULD BE MUCH EASIER TO SHOP IN THE STORES AGAIN, THAN ONLINE. AFTER SPENDING 5 - 10 MINUTES ANSWERING TO A STUPID COMPUTER VOICE, YOU THEN GET INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE JUST AS DUMB, CANNOT SPELL BASIC NAMES, CANT SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH, CANT FIGURE OUT OR WORSE YET SOLVE YOUR ISSUES. AND IM SO FED UP UP WITH THIS RIDICULOUS VERIFICATION THROUGH EMAIL OR TEXT CRAP. I REITERATE, IT WOULD BE SIMPLER TO RETURN TO GET OUT ON FOOT TO DO YOUR SHOPPING. WHICH I WILL BE DOING. AND TO THINK I PAY THESE GUYS EVERY MONTH, FOR THIS SERVICE (WHETHER I SHOP OR NOT) JOKE, JOKE, JOKE.

Stop using Intelcom

Amazon should stop using Intelcom for deliveries. Their tracking is useless, claim attempt delivery seems to be the default notification - we have Intercom system and cameras so KNOW no delivery was attempted. Support is unreachable, chat okay but said the guaranteed delivery TODAY means nothing - wait a week and hope the driver is in a good mood.
It appears Amazon doesn't care if they lose business, so I guess it's time to look for local options.

UPDATE:
Intelcom didn't call back as requested on their support line, 2hr wait if you want to hold.
Again this am for the third time "Its out for delivery" then a notification it can't be delivered.

I talked to Amazon support who told me I have to wait until Dec 2 to ask for a refund. Bottom line I told them, "This reflects badly on Amazon, and will likely affect any future purchases" Why order on Amazon when their courier can't deliver (why?)

UPDATE 2:

I believe Amazon escalated this to Intelcom, it was delivered last night at 7:30 pm (although in an insecure area) so good news. Doesn't change my sabbatical from Amazon, however.

I used to think they were great

I used to think they were great. That didn't last long. Multiple issues with their products. Their cust service is completely useless. Robots. The only hope you have is if your product malfunctions within 30 days. After that, say goodbye to your money. Their sellers are even worse, they will sell you crap and then say it's your fault something went wrong. Example, bought bbq cast iron grates replacement for my Weber Q3200. After 4 months, they already rusted out. Got in contact with seller through Amazon, no dice, my fault they rusted. Give me a break ! stopped using their credit card a long time ago, only bought my last order cause I had a rewards credit, thank god for that.
