I really hate to see those one star reviews… Here’s my Kudos... I misplace my first pair of sunglasses ... So I really need sunglasses because I’m sensitive to the sunlight… So I immediately went to readers.com to see what was available and if I could get the same sunglasses… And then I thought I’d check out Amazon… Amazon has Readers.com as one of their sellers... I placed an order with Amazon… Went back to Readers.com... And my previous purchased sunglasses were on sale for about half the price… I called Readers.com They canceled my Amazon order… My final cost was way less then half price of the Amazon glasses... I highly appreciate you Readers.com

It's back to the dollar store from my readers

The initial quality was good.
I usually buy readers at the dollar store but the offer I got for these was a price better than price at the dollar store. The initial quality was good however it's only been a couple of months and the hinge just broke. I treated these with great care and expected more. Just awesome

Some of these 1 star reviews on here just don't make no sense my experience was totally the opposite! I had purchased a pair of reader glasses from them and unfortunately they were defective within 24 hours they replied to my email resolve the problem and shipped a new pair of glasses just like that!

Best Readers I have Ever Had !!

I received mt first pair of readers with blue blocking so my eyes wouldn't tire while reading my ipad.
I completely LOVE them!!
Price was very good and I received them in 3 days.
They are very well built and comfortable!!
Last night I used them for the first time and they were better then the dozen other pairs I have around the home.
My eyes didn't water and sting or get tired!!
I will be buying many more blue blocking and regular readers from this company:)

Bought 3 pairs and within 2 weeks screws were falling out and I know I can replace the screw but I shouldn't have to especially not 2 weeks in.

Terrible Customer Service

First off, the reading glasses are mismatched when it comes to strength. I ordered 3 pair of 3x strength, which is what I have been using when buying from Walgreens/CVS and so forth. The readers.com 3x are about twice the strength of the local retailer brands so everything way blurry unless I held things about 1 inch from the glasses. Tried to exchange on the website and they present a nice easy to use page to do exchanges, however they trap users with a required field which cannot be edited, thus making you email (24 hour wait time) or call. I called twice and got "Adam is out to lunch until 1pm...please leave a message" on each call. This has to be a 1 or 2 person operation if that's the voice mail on the main 800 line? Anyway, they are making it extremely difficult to do business with. Once I get this order corrected, I will not order again nor would I recommend them to anyone else. Go to the local store and pay a little extra but come out with exactly what you want and need.

I purchased three pairs of bifocals

I purchased three pairs of bifocals. for $35. which suppose to be $20. less then there normal price with a coupon. Now I don't expect high quality framing. But the lenses I never in my life seen. they stick on a piece of plastic about one inch in the middle of the lense. not cut into the lense as I seen on glasses. but stuck on like a piece of tape. Really poor quality.. I expect it to be similar if not better then you can buy in a drug store.of similar price, Not so.. and of course you can return them and pay for the return which is over $10,00. and God only knows how long you have to wait for the credit.. So thumbs down. I'll try and use them for a while, but they don't work well.. things get very fussy.

I ordered combination glasses with…

I ordered combination glasses with different strengths in each lens. While I'm glad they offer this service, it just didn't work. The power I had tested for my weaker right eye just wasn't vaguely right when I received the readers.com glasses. Moreover, the frames were far uglier looking than they appeared online. So... I'm out $70 with an unusable pair of reading glasses. Can't say I recommend getting a pair of these.

These glasses are vary poorly constructed

these glass have vary nice style to them but they are vary poorly constructed and also they prescription is not correct but you don't notice right away until the damage has already been done to your eye sight I brought at least 6-7 pair of these glass and all of them have broken, I would not recommend these glasses to anyone

Best Customer Service!

I purchased a pair of readers for my husband, but they arrived missing an earpiece. I dreaded calling customer service, but they were so nice. They replaced my husbands' readers with two pair, and I didn't have to box the broken ones up and send them back. They made a bad experience so much better. They have my business forever.

Dont use this company.

Needed glasses for my job. Ordered clear frames and bifoculs but received black frames and no bifoculs. Called and was told i couldnt be helped. This company sucks.

Great Customer Service - Terrible Glasses

Bought a couple pairs of glasses from Readers.com and in less than two months both pairs had broken on the frame. Thought maybe I was being too hard on the glasses so ordered a couple more and this time they lasted a little over three months before breaking again.

I take my glasses on and off frequently and wondered (again) if it might be how I was using them. And I love their frame styles so I tarried yet again - ordered glasses with the hinged frames (two of one style and two of another). Each pair lasted from two to eight weeks and in less than five months, all four pair were history.

So I contacted Readers, explained the situation and provided some pictures of the broken frames and they couldn’t have been nicer; sorry to hear that they didn’t work, we’ll definitely pass this along, etc. And by the way, go ahead and order four more pair for free - up to x$ cost which was more than double what I’d originally paid. Great, I’m thinking, maybe more expensive readers will last longer.

If only. Glasses arrived mid-Jan and the last pair just broke a week ago. On average, a new pair every 45 days.

Looks like I’m going back to Costco and Walgreens. They may not be as stylish but they last 5-10 times longer.
