Stay away Realestatepracticetest.com is…

Stay away Realestatepracticetest.com is worthless and although I was getting 91% and above on the practice test I failed the state test and none of the questions on the practice exams were relevant.

This prep site is worthless

This prep site is worthless. It doesn't have any actual state specific information that will help you pass the test. The test prep questions are all generic. DO NOT sign up for this prep test if you want a chance to pass any real estate exam test.

PLEASE READ REVIEWS

PLEASE READ REVIEWS. My experience with this company is less than one star. I would never recommend their service. I paid for their practice exams for the Ohio Brokers exam. The practice test - all 5 tests/500 questions has basically nothing to do with the actual test.

I passed one but failed the second. I contacted the website due to their advertisement that says “100% money back guarantee “ and yep, I got the same rude response from the website. When I informed them I will let others know about their service/product, yep I was threatened as well. Buyer Beware.

A short story from FL

I did not sign up for their service - I just took their free 20 Q test, it covered some points with which I was not familiar and, sure enough, there they were on Tuesday morning. Not exactly a ringing endorsement, but good enough to be appreciated.

Over 1,000 Applicable Practice Questions

So my State Indiana requires a 90-hour pre licensing course completion certificate which includes also passing section exams by 75% or better. After I completed mine I was looking for practice questions from another perspective and so I utilized the realestatepracticetest.com material and did about 500 questions where I was averaging about 82%. A lot of the questions covered areas my course didn't so I got to figure out what I needed to work on before I took the State test. I found their practice tests very helpful and well worth the $49 bucks considering it costs about $1,000 to get the license if you include all the costs and fees associated with everything involved, at least here in Indiana anyway. I passed both the National and State sections on the first try.

If they would add an additional product with specific questions based on the State laws section, which is 55 questions on the exam, I would've bought that too for another $49. But as is, still very applicable information to the majority of the exam.

I bought this program to help me with…

I bought this program to help me with preperation for my Idaho Real Estate license exam. There is no way I could recommend this product to anyone. It in no way prepared me for taking the test. None of the practice tests had anything like the practice test. Needless to say, I did not pass the test although I was passing all of the practice tests. I sent them an email expressing my unhappiness and asking for a refund and I received an extremely rude and aggressive response. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Not a good company in my opinion, incl threats to sue me. I simply can not recommend them to anyone.

Further edit: Check out the the linkedin site with its 'CEO'. The same 'CEO' is also on two other prep sites, as their CEO. All the sites are reflecting the same issues. I suspect after looking at all the evidence, this is a non-USA based group that has constructed and operating these sites.

Please be advised that this is a relating of my experience, portions contain my opinion as well as relating my perception of the events of my experiences with them. Im rewording this a bit since I received more threatening email from them, though I had told them to delete my account and not to contact me again, and keep the 50 bucks- just isnt worth it! At least the marketing emails eventually stopped. (btw- its somewhat revealing that they use a gmail account instead of the company domain email) The threats were even with a litany of errors- such as the accusation I am "extorting" them - mmm, customer complaints are just complaints- they are not extortion. And the threat of a defamation lawsuit- no Ive not stated anything other than my own opinion and experiences. Additionally, that they are sending the Sheriff to my door to serve me, but they said not to worry- I dont have to be home to be served. Of course, the email had the ALL CAPS treatment as well, and the threat to respond by 5pm that day, etc. There may also exist an issue if they are not fluent in English. and I havent heard back from the CEO even though I reached out to him regarding his employee who identified himself as Ned. It makes me wonder if the linkedin page is legitimate. There are so many scams these days, and I dont see a phone number to call them.
Regardless, even moreso now with this additional emails from them, it still stands there is no way I would recommend this company. Be aware they recommend their service is the best way to pass the exams, then when I complained there was no state specific info (Hawaiian law is very specific of the 50states). The website is (in my experience) misleading due to the fact they have different links for different states, it gives the impression there is specific state info. However, they have emailed to state that is not the case, and no where do they say this on the website. They also retorted I complained only because I failed to study and relied on practice tests to know the answers. However, comments from the ceo quoted from his linkedin page and from their website-
"We believe that passing your Real Estate exam should only require you to do 2 things:

1) Take our comprehensive industry-leading practice tests
2) Show up to take your test on the day of the exam.
That's it...pretty simple, right?

“...the key to passing the exam is to take as many practice tests as you can before the big day” - end quotation(s).

If these tests are sooo pivotal to passing, as they stated, how can one pass without the specific state information being included??? In response to that they stated I should NOT rely on practice tests, complete opposite of their statements online. Furthermore, when I complained about poor grammer and typos, they said I need to send them the ones that need correcting. My response was it is not my job to correct their product, it is a product quality problem. It was really messing me up trying to practice when I had to mentally correct the sentences, or just get sidetracked with them. Heck, Im sure there is a typo/ge or two here. When I offered to correct them if they paid me- my time and work are not free- they stated I was being nasty. Seriously? Not a company I would ever recommend. In my opinion, absolutely inappropriate customer service responses. Feel free to contact me for more information regarding this company and my lousy experience with them. Im easy enough to find online.
