Bought my car from these guys yesterday. I put a application in through Facebook I didn’t expect anything to come back but within a few hours I was approved and the next day I was there choosing a car. Great selection of cars. I ended up getting a 13 plate Ford Focus on a very reasonable rate. I’m happy the car comes with a 3 month warranty which gives me a bit piece of mind. The guys were great and answered all the questions I had. Thanks guys I’ll be back when I need a new car.

My issues as discussed are:

1. The horn does not work I have requested for them to fix this and even drove to their garage and STILL no offer of an appointment the man allowed me to drive away with a horn that does not work. This is a danger hazard. I have a 18month old baby and explained this numerous times and no one has offered me a chance to fix this.
2. I have nearly crashed the car due to not been able to alert other drivers that I am there. This has me petrified and I have no other option as I need to commute to work!
3. I am a vulnerable customer with a baby and was practically forced to make a decision on the day I enquired about the vehicle. The car salesman said 'You will not be accepted if you wait another 30 days as this will effect your credit file so if you have bad credit they won't offer you another' This worried me as I needed a vehicle. I specifically said I did not like any of the vehicles but was made to think if I didn't take one then I will be left without a car.
4. I have mental health of an emotionally unstable personality disorder so I believe I was not in any right frame of mind or given enough time to assess anything. I know nothing about cars and trusted this car dealership.
5. The cars value is £7000 and 2 car dealerships priced this for me. I was sold this vehicle at £11,500 that is over 60% of the cars value. Then in total paying 19,000 over 5 years.
6. 0 responsible lending was given to me. No one went through any affordability checks with me and I was very vulnerable at point of sale.
7. I want to be in the same position I was before I took this car out as I will no longer be paying any payments for it.
8. I have been miss sold, the dealership has unfair traded & both have prayed on a vulnerable young lady with a baby and mental health and 0 affordability checks were done. I was in my overdraft at point of sale.

My question to you and the car dealership is what if I crash and me and my baby are seriously hurt? What if I knock over a young child? Due to this extremely dangerous vehicle that you both seem to not care about? Are you willing to take responsibility of this?

If this review stops 1 person from going through what I have went through I will be happy, this company sold me a faulty car ,that is now only worth scrap and it will cost me 14 grand for the privelage ,please avoid this company at all costs the car broke before I even got it home , the company refuse to fix the car .

After a rough break up with my girlfriend that left me without a car and a move back home with my parents. I needed something to help me with car finance and abeling me to get on the road within a week.
I came across RECC Via Facebook and got in touch with the firm in Brunswick Newcastle . A few days later I had been accepted for finance and an appointment to view cars within the lot. The exact same day I see I car that I love and get to drive away with it, no faults absolutely amazing customer service and a full year mot too. Would like to thank Rob and Paul at RECC Newcastle for setting me up with my Ford Fiesta . Cannot fault this car it drives so smoothe and for having 1 previous owner and 60k on the clock I could see myself with this car for a good while after the finance has ended.

Bought a car on finance from Avanti cars(Really Easy Car Credit), within less than a week the gearbox has broken and the response I got from them was “use your warranty”, so contacted citizens advice and was informed that I don’t have to use the useless warranty I was given, under the law I have the right to have the car repaired by Avanti cars with no cost too me ,failing that I also have the right too return the car and have finance company reimbursed,or a like for like replacement, so I am now in the process of having the car independently inspected and will then go too trading standards with my evidence of them giving poor customer service and also denying me my legal rights by telling me to use warranty when they know I don’t have to, please avoid this place like the plague!!!!!!
