Very likely a scam company claiming to claim money back for you from HMRC

Had a call from them today (from a private number) claiming to be from "National Gateway" (strongly implying that they are linked to HMRC). The lady seemed genuine and she "knew" a few things about my situation. In any case, she told me that I might be able to claim back some money from HMRC, talked me through the stuff I already claimed and said I can claim mileage back (after some research I figured, I can't because I am not a business). I presume they claim to be your accountant so they claim it on behalf of you. They sent me a docusign that I would need to sign with HMRC forms pre-filled but it states that I would nominate this company as the recipient of the cheque. When I questioned her about that she was unable to answer this for me properly and went on about how I would be unable to claim it for myself etc. I then told her I won't sign it before I have read it properly. Looked at the small print which states that they would receive 33% of the payout. First of all I don't want to claim something I am really not entitled to, secondly how do I know they don't just keep the cheque and thirdly, she never mentioned the 33%. Very dubious! The company has only existed for a month according to the gov website and the company website isn't very descriptive either. Looks like a scam hiding behind a legit looking website and location.
