Amazing community!
I've been a member of RBC for four years. The books have had such a HUGE impact on my life and shaped who I am today, which I’m very grateful for. They’ve helped encouraged me to give up drinking, fulfil my dream of becoming a yoga teacher, limit my fashion consumption and become more conscious and aware of how we treat this beautiful planet earth. A great community and I highly recommend RBC!
Brilliant Book Club
I have been part of this book club for 4 years. I always learn something from the book chosen - and it is often a book I wouldn't have selected to read. The in person meetings are brilliant- both discussing the book and meeting new people. For anyone looking to learn about different topics and share their thoughts and opinions and hear others share theirs, I would highly recommend joining!
Probably the most rewarding community…
Probably the most rewarding community I've joined. The books are carefully chosen and covered a broad range if topics so you get exposed to new and interesting ideas. I once heard the founders were reading loads of interesting books and needed more people to discuss the ideas with, hence the rbc was born. This is exactly what I found and it has been super rewarding. And I joined 2 months before lockdown and it was still great over the whole of covid. Great books great community great events 👌
Book Club is an understatement
Book Club is an understatement because it's way more - RBC is an international community of people who gather around subjects of interest, and usually they take action, updating their microenvironments to better versions.
The short story of my RBC journey so far: I joined a few years ago and the first community gathering was around Seth Godin's book. The big surprise was that we had a call with the man himself!
With every book that followed, my reading skills improved, I actually started finishing books, applying ideas from them, and having amazing conversations around topics I probably wouldn't explore otherwise.
I made great friends and I got amazing value from the smaller communities that emerged after reading different books.
My experience made me realise how much power can generate a book club, to personal and even society levels.
I'm amazed by how much RBC grows every month. There are way more calls, more authors, more interesting topics to discuss, so there is a place for everyone who enjoys non-fiction.
A simple idea, amazingly executed!
When I tell people I've got my book club that evening I often imagine they think it's a dull evening, sat in a circle drinking tea.
RBC couldn't be further from that image!
I've been a member coming up to six years and it's always a highlight of my month. The books range from personal development/business books from authors like Ryan Holiday & Seth Godin (both of whom tuned in for a live interview) to gripping non-fiction thrillers like Bad Blood. It's a great way of getting out of your reading comfort zone and coming to the meet up adds accountability.
The meet ups are always fun, with excellent cocktails from Rich at Mix and Muddle. The RBC team know how to create a welcoming setting and you get to have a chat with people from all over the world who all share a passion for learning.
Not your average book club...
Looking for a place with great people, entertaining & engaging meet-ups and occasionally reading a phenomenal book? Rebel Book Club is your place! I've been a member of the club for 2 years and the best thing about it is the number of off shoot groups available. Looking for a bunch club? Check. Looking for an entrepreneur club? Check. Looking to discuss books? Check check check!
Great people, well run and lots more! Definitely not your average book club...
I'm an author whose book was selected…
I'm an author whose book was selected for the Rebel Book Club.
I was delighted to be chosen: it got my book in front of a large new audience of discerning readers. It certainly was not a pushover of a group: my book received a full range of feedback from rave reviews to people who did not enjoy the book at all. (Plus one of the most caustically rude reviews I have ever received as an author! 😂)
I really enjoyed the two live Book Club events that I spoke at. These were a chance to meet readers and discuss the ideas in my book. They were fun, friendly, sociable, welcoming, inclusive events filled with lively, challenging conversation.
I would say that getting your book title chosen by the Rebel Book Club is a great opportunity for an author.

Social & Mental stimulation
I’ve been a member of RBC for a few years now. Even when I’m out of the country it keeps me on track with reading a wide variety of books. Often ones I wouldn’t notice or pick for myself, but which I’m grateful to have read after I finish the final page.
The best thing for me, are the other members. A big, diverse group of very smart, fun loving people. I always meet someone remarkable at the monthly meet-ups, and hear about interesting opportunities and new concepts in the online group.
The value I’ve received is *significantly* higher than the very affordable monthly fee. I recommend it ideas, interesting people, and reading.
RBC is more than a book club
RBC is more than a book club - it’s a community, a mission, a movement. Being a part of RBC has given me so much joy and given a tremendous amount of meaning to my life. It’s taken my reading to a whole new different level. Great selection of non-fiction books every month, fabulous monthly meet-ups with thought provoking discussions, and some awesome people. What more can you want! Highly recommend it!
Broadens my mind
I love the challenge each month of reading something I often wouldn't otherwise choose. From Eating Animals to Climate Change and Theranos to Cambridge Analytica, I'm definitely a more interesting conversationalist since joining.
A very special book club indeed ❤️
I have been a member of Rebel Book Club (RBC) for 5 years now. Calling it a 'book club' is almost a disservice; it's really a community and a movement. I've known many book clubs to fizzle out after a few months, but there's something special about RBC that just keeps it going from strength to strength.
The team behind it are amazing and put effort into every little detail; from the customised payment plans, monthly newsletters and community hangouts, to the little details of the in person meet ups and conversation starters.
I have met and had conversations with so many interesting people at RBC over the years and look forward to many more to come.
Forever a fan of RBC ❤️
Forever a fan of the Rebel Book Club crew and love what they’re doing for non-fiction readers in London (and worldwide!)
Not sure where else you could get as much heart, author chats and cool people as with RBC. So worth joining.
Join the club!
I've been a part of RBC for years now and it's the best club in London. There are always interesting people to meet and network with, and a great choice of books to read. The meetups are great and it's run brilliantly. Members are always listened to and despite being so big, still definitely feels like a club.
I've been a member of RBC for more than…
I've been a member of RBC for more than 5 years, and it's one of the best communities I've ever been part of! Every month I get to learn something new and meet inspiring people along the way. What else can you ask for?!
