Don't bother wasting your time with this lot.

Was quoted £168 for Samsung S22. Sent phone off once they eventually sent the returns package.
Phone is in very good condition but they claimed it wouldn't start up. Having been in the post for a few days of course it needs charging! They couldn't be bothered to give it some juice, just dismissed it out of hand and offered £2! Yes, £2. What a joke of a company. Now waiting for my phone to come back to me. Never using Likewize again and EE should do some due dilgence on customer satisfaction before outsourcing work. It may be a third party who does the recycling but they are acting on EE's (BT GROUP) behalf. EE do better!

DO NOT USE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY!

I sent my iPad to them on 28th January and have heard nothing from them or received payment. I have contacted their customer services department several times to be told they have received my iPad and it is waiting to be reviewed.
It is now nearly two months that they first received the iPad and I still have not received anything for the iPad.

Absolutely shocking company

Absolutely shocking company. Why EE are working with Likewize I’ll never know. Likewize lost my phone, and scammed me out of £285. After chasing for what was almost 3 weeks, they told me I had put the wrong imei number in. This was incorrect as I confirmed it with EE. All of a sudden, after getting trading standards involved (which is still an on going case) they told me my phone had been “lost” and it had never arrived at the warehouse, despite being signed for on the tracking. Likewize then continued to fob me off with a £100 “insurance fee” when a perfect iPhone 13 Pro Max was sent. I’d suggest using a high street trade in company or a more reputable company, their customer service is basically non existent and emails come from a script. As I’ve already said to Likewize and I’ll put it here now, I will not go away until I’ve got proof that they never received the phone when I can see it was received.

Do not use!

I sent off an iPhone 11 as EE had already said it was valued at £113. They then sent an email revaluing it at £34! I declined this ridiculous offer and asked them to send the phone back to me. I then sold it for £110 the next day to a more reputable and decent company. Avoid and do not waste your time!

Poor organisation who do not keep to their word.

I sent an Apple Watch which was received by Likewize (EE Recycle) on 22/11. After numerous emails they finally said payment would be in my account “by 5th December”. On 6th December they have now told me that payment was only released yesterday so can take up to 3 days. They seem like a very disorganised company. They don’t have any guidelines on how long they will hold on to your property before assessing it for payment and their emails are full of inconsistencies and inaccuracies. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you wish to recycle electronics.

My initial handset quote was £200

My initial handset quote was £200
The handset is in good condition with usual signs of 14 months use
They emailed me an offer of £60 claiming multiple issues
Handset was not damaged when sent back. Description I gave of condition was accurate. Whilst you might expect some haggling a reduction of £140 is insulting

Really disappointing experience

Really disappointing experience. My phone was in great condition, having been kept in a case that protected the body, and switched the screen off when not in use. However they claimed screen burn. Frankly I've never noticed any difference with the screen. I know if you turn on eye protection it gives the screen a pinkish warm hue... which is how it works. But as I can't prove that I'm forced to accept an offer of less than a third of the £75 I was offered for the phone. My advice is take some photos and videos of your phone before sending it in.

Less than trustworthy

Got a quote from ee recycle of £106. Sent my phone off which had a cover on and a screen cover since purchase and had no scratches or damage. Got an email back saying it was late being received (it wasn't as Post Office tracking confirmed delivery before the expiry date) and listing lots of rules about why they would reduce the value if damaged and they offered £32!!! I asked for the phone to be returned. It's now been received and there is not a scratch on it. Seems they're just hoping people won't bother asking for their phone back. I'll try a more reputable recycler.
