I bought the gangster guns and garters mystery package. So easy to use, sent all the invites and descriptions out to our friends and everyone came in fancy dress and did their very best to put on an accent, albeit somewhere terrible. We had an absolute fabulous night and the package was so easy to use. Highly recommend the red herring murder mystery packages. Will definitely be doing another one.

Amazing company, great people, if Carlsberg did murder they wouldn't be as good as red herring

Ordered one of their mystery box subscriptions for my kids and they could not have been more helpful - chatted to me about the difficulty, paused the subscription when we didn't have time to complete that month's box, made sure we had a box at the right time to open for a present. 10/10

Sent the wrong game inside the right box, then called me from a “no caller ID” phone number (auto blocked by my phone) but left a voicemail asking me to call them back. I called back to get their voicemail, that says “press 4 and one of us might answer the phone” but after pressing 4, I was directed to leave a voicemail asking me “they were probably out killing someone”. Whilst they are a murder mystery games company, I fear their customer services are represented in extremely poor taste and are offering an extremely poor service to the people who pay their salary. I’m leaving for London tomorrow to deliver this game as a gift. I suspect this error has only come to light as some other poor customer has complained that they also received the wrong murder mystery from what they ordered. I await their return call back with interest, unsure how they can make this right in the time frame.
Edit: when contact was finally established, the company was full of profuse apologies & bent over backwards to make our situation “right” as soon as humanly possible. They were very nice in the end. Except, then they posted the corrected game to the wrong named person at the address. Beggars belief.

We have hosted numerous Murder Mystery dinner party games at home. Red Herring Games are by far the best. I have complete trust that the evening will be successful and absolutely hilarious. Thd games we have played had terrific storylines and fabulous characters.

Brilliant customer service from Red Herring Games. We ordered an 18-player game and needed to upgrade to a 20 player game last minute. They went above and beyone to make sure we had the new game on NYE . Also, the games and the characters are great, highly recommended for a very entertaining evening

Once we decided we wanted a murder mystery for our wedding, we looked at difference companies. Finally, we decided on Red Herring, as from the get go their communication was swift, it was super easy to plan in Zooms and they were very happy to brainstorm with us. We were absolutely blown away by the event. The five actors were incredible, very professional and great at improvisation and working the crowd. Everyone had an absolutely amazing time, and so many guests came up to us afterwards to tell us how much they enjoyed the murder mystery and what a great way it was to break the ice. We had Jack as our lead actor, and he did an incredible job. I couldn't recommend this company more.
