It's completely unworkable

It's completely unworkable. You'll be logged out at somepoint and your passwords and user name will no longer work. No chance of ever speaking to a human. It's completely run by bots from top to bottom. I must have sent hundreds of reports in but no response or feedback or update. Its happened with 5 different accounts now so its certainly no one off. They make it so you accumulate karma points to gain functions. You will never get that Karma because you'll lose access to your account long before then. So its a scam really. A way to boost membership artificially purely for spreadsheet purposes. I would not waste your time with it folks. It's a waste of your life to play such silly games. If you cant build a workable (and stable!) platform in this day and age then you don't deserve your permission to play the game. I've wasted far too much time on this nonsense already and all in an attempt to try to share best practice and help other people.

Banned for doing nothing

I got banned after only being on this website for a few days. When trying to ask why, I got banned again. I didn't break any of the rules, I barely even posted, and when I tried to ask why on another account and ask what I could do to fix it and showed everything I had posted and did on the account in screenshots for context, that account got banned too.

Just ban everyone and delete your stupid site.

Nice to see other people hate it like I do. Never lets me post, just deletes anything I ever upload and that’s if I have enough karma in the first place. How do you get karma? Who the hell knows… I mean isn’t the idea of the site to share? All I can ever do is read other people’s stuff, but screw me for wanting to start a post. Ridiculous site.

Full of fascism

The platforms moderation is vapid fascist censorship wrapped up as "we promote tolerance" but only their own version of tolerance. The platform is only tolerant if you share the views the platform promotes. I left a comment about trans ideology and how gender dysphoria should be treated with cognitive behavioural therapy and not hormones or puberty blockers, and got banned.

Reporting only bans male, not female

Temporary banned for calling someone out. I posted on Reddit to find specific people. As the subreddit described, I was clear of who and what.

I got a lot of messages (I am male, so I got 4 messages, which is a lot). But 4 out of 4 didn't read the post and I told one to go and read it and it's not what I am looking for. she started to call me names, making threats, and more. So I closed the chat.

One day later, I got a message that I was banned for 7 days, because of... harassment.
I know who it is, so I created a new account and started a chat with her. She started to actually harass me! She was calling names, making threats, and more. Perfect! So I reported her for harassment. Five minutes later, I got a message from Reddit: My report was declined because there was no proof, and there was no sign of harassment.

This shows, once again, that Reddit is run by people who prefer women over men. Maybe it's time to cancel it?

Beware: Christian Brothers Automotive Performed Incomplete and Damaging Repairs on My Audi A6

I brought my Audi A6 to Christian Brothers Automotive for a timing chain replacement and camshaft girdle reseal, based on a diagnosis from an Audi dealership that confirmed these were the only necessary repairs.

Shortly after dropping off my car, I received a call from a service advisor named Joe, stating that three diagnostic codes appeared and that additional tests needed to be run. I initially agreed, but quickly withdrew my consent when I was told multiple tests would be run. Joe then told me the diagnostics were already completed and that “their techs don’t work for free.” I received an invoice with three diagnostic charges totaling $480, despite less than five minutes passing between drop-off and the call.

I spoke to Aaron, the service manager, who claimed the check engine light was on and sent a blurry picture to support that. I enlarged the image, and the check engine light was clearly not on. This contradicted their justification for the diagnostics and seemed misleading.

Despite requesting only the two original repairs, they kept my car for four days and returned it with unauthorized charges added to my credit card. When I brought this up, they refused to remove them.

A month later, my car was still leaking oil. I returned to their shop, and after they kept the car again, it was returned in worse condition — the engine was shaking, the seats and cupholders were vibrating, and oil was still leaking. Aaron then claimed the sensor was lying and wanted to run another diagnostic, which I declined. He blamed the issue on Audi and handed me a service bulletin that did not apply to my car.

To verify the situation, I took my car to AutoZone, topped off the oil myself, and the oil warning light went off immediately — indicating Christian Brothers had not even checked the oil.

I then returned to the Audi dealership. The certified Audi mechanic discovered:
• Oil all over the underside of the engine
• The camshaft girdle had not been resealed
• Two broken ignition coil connectors
• Damaged engine mounts, causing vibration and roughness
• A rattling turbocharger
• Coolant overfilled

The Audi technician confirmed in writing and on video that Christian Brothers did not perform the work they charged me for, and instead caused additional damage.

After the dealership corrected the issues, my Audi is now running like new.

I sent a detailed letter to Christian Brothers requesting a refund. In response, the owner, Daniel, refused and accused me of threatening his company’s reputation when I mentioned leaving a review. I then received a letter from his attorney, claiming I had made defamatory statements and threatened punitive damages — despite having full documentation, invoices, dealership letters, photos, and video proof supporting every statement I made.

This experience cost me three times the original estimate due to poor workmanship, misleading diagnostics, and unnecessary charges. I tried to resolve the matter privately and professionally, but was met with denial, threats, and intimidation.

I strongly recommend avoiding this location or having any work verified immediately by a certified dealership mechanic.

Banned for bad reason

U/bigsby2009

Reddit banned me on the spot because someone reported me for facilitating a firearms transaction. All I said was that I would like to know about who the OP of a thread bought their ammunition from. I was unaware there was even a rule against this. I did nothing wrong and was not trying to buy anything through Reddit. When I appealed, I was given the same canned response. I am very disappointed in Reddit.

Reddit is for submissives

Only use this Q&A platform if you don’t mind being censored by a bold bunch of leftist bots. The believe in freedom of their own speech and not yours if it’s contrary to what is acceptable. Reddit itself has no content. Their job is to oversee a flock of subreddits and enforce their rules and censorship. Parler and Quora are platforms where there’s very little restriction on expressing oneself.

No respect for freedom of expression

It is a platform where freedom of expression is very limited. If reported, they ban you without looking at the content of what you wrote. People report everything they don't like anyway. So, in this case, you cannot write anything other than light-hearted stories. That's why I uninstall.

Reddit Xs New Member Posts Because They Are New?!

Signed up and gave my opinion about where our economy is headed being very careful to stay within Reddits guidelines. I spent a while composing message to make sure it sounded intelligent and was non offensive.

Then, my post gets deleted by their site software: stating it was deleted because my membership was less than 4 days old?? WTF?

This website is a joke

This website is a joke! If you slightly share your opinion on something, you get banned! Then you have these young folks that spend their entire lives on this site acting like they are gods and know everything. This site is loaded with AI bots, and it's most likely all of the stupid, unintelligent humans of the internet that end up on Reddit because they have no place to go. This site is pretty much a cult and is also highly pushing political agendas! At this point in time, this site should be banned from the internet. It's way too toxic and dangerous to be up and running! They claim Reddit is the heart of the internet, but this site is more of the armpit of the internet! Someone please get this site shut down!

YouTube has some great videos from Reddit.

I only recently began using this site. I have only used this site 4 or 5 times within the last 2 years or so. Most of the time, I come across some funny YouTube channel (Matt Rose) and I'm able to hear all of the crazy things that happen to people. The users are typically funny, or have interesting stories to tell.
