My 17yo recently passed first time with Luke We transferred from another instructor -outside RED - as they didn’t have enough availability for us to feel confident she would be ready for her test scheduled early May. Luke gave us an honest assessment of her ability and what we needed to do to be ready and then followed through on his side of the bargain. According to my daughter Luke was a great instructor - he obviously has a sense of humour and the patience of a saint to spend 4 hours pw confined in a car with her 😆 but what stood out for me was his communication, commitment and flexibility (for example offering her bank holiday and early morning slots (5.45am) so she could fit it in around 6th form) I would recommend him to anyone!

I recently passed my test with Red Driving School with my amazing instructor James Valente. He was amazing every single lesson and always put every bit of effort in. He was brilliant at adapting each time to what I needed to learn and felt confident and comfortable doing, and he really helped me to build up the strength and courage to pass my test. I could not recommend James and Red enough, he made every lesson fun and has taught me the driving skills I will use for the rest of my life. Thank you James.

I had a great experience learning to drive with Michael Wenger. He is a very calm, patient, and friendly driving instructor who always made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. His clear teaching style and encouragement helped me improve quickly, and thanks to his support I passed my driving test in Stevenage first time. Tomasz Cieslikiewicz from Wood Green in North London Is a great driving instructor. He is very friendly, reasonable and patient and explained everything clearly which helped me build my confidence when driving. His lessons were very well tailored to my progress and I highly recommend him!

Ali was a fantastic instructor! I took a couple of refresher classes as I never drove in the UK before and wanted to gain some confidence driving on the other side of the road and in busy London. Ali was encouraging, kind and friendly and he tailored the classes to what I felt I needed practice on. Really enjoyed the experience!

Great experience. I had lessons with Teuta, who is just beyond amazing. I am an anxious driver and she always made me feel comfortable and at ease during the lessons. Very professional and committed to her students. Passed the exam on my first try. 5 stars and beyond.

I passed my driving test first time due to the superb guidance of my instructor - Phil Durmush. He’s got great expertise and he understood well the level of support I needed. His guidance was always timely, clear, and reassuring, making even the challenging aspects of driving feel manageable. Started driving not knowing much, thanks too Raj sandhu and Judit veres I passed today. There both amazing instructors and very easy to learn from. I definitely owe it all to them! If I could recommend anybody to learn with it would definitely be those two!

Her strict but practical approach, incredible patience, and ability to spot bad habits within minutes made a huge difference. She taught me essential skills like blind‑spot checks, eco/fuel efficient driving techniques defensive driving, and so much more, all with a calm, clinical teaching style that truly builds confident drivers.
I also want to appreciate Gug, who is also a RED instructor. He is firm, patient, and always encouraging. He shares many of his mum’s strengths but brings his own gentle and slightly more lenient style to teaching. He gives you the time and space to improve while correcting mistakes with care and clarity.
Together, they create the perfect learning environment for anyone who wants to become a safe, confident, and defensive driver. I’m genuinely grateful for everything they did to help me earn my licence.

A great experience with Red! It was so easy to book lessons and see everything clearly in the app. My instructor, Anthony Silvera, was fantastic. He was patient, supportive and insightful across all my lessons, helping me calm my nerves to pass first time. Couldn't recommend more!

my first lesson got cancelled 2 hours before my lesson by the instructor and i had booked the day off work for this so i have lost 1 of my annual leave days
