He didn’t just teach me how to pass — he helped me become a safe and confident driver. He is very patient, supportive, and always motivating, which made learning much easier.

Instructor refused to allow my son to take his test with less than the 10 days to go. Bearing in mind he’s been driving for over 6 months. Very disappointing. Lost test money now

The driving instructor was very friendly and helpful- helping me to pass my driving test easily and with very few minor mistakes.

Recently passed my test after taking lessons with Tim Dale. Very good experience, he got me ready for the test very thoroughly and effectively.

I have recently been taking lessons with Latvia Ahmadi after changing instructors 3 times. Not only was she kind and compassionate, she was also so supportive and very patient with me. She’s helped me grow my confidence overtime after failing many times with other instructors and has been nothing but understanding. Her teaching style meets my needs and helps me improve each lesson. She gave me lots of one to one personal feedback after every lesson which was useful for me to reflect. I passed my test today all thanks to her and her teaching style and I would highly recommend her!

On 30th April at 12.55pm, in Doncaster centre, I was followed by a grey Volkswagen Golf (Reg: GJ74 OCD) with 'RED' Driving School branding. The instructor was tailgating my vehicle aggressively. There was no visible learner in the car, meaning this was the professional instructor's own driving standard.

​As a professional driver, his conduct was intimidating and dangerous. I am reporting this as a breach of the 'National standard for driver and rider training' regarding professional conduct and road safety.

We give my daughter's instructor Samad Babashahi - who covers N10 and other parts of north London - 10/10.

After a v poor experience with an instructor from Jarretts who was constantly late / messed us around - Samad was a delight to deal with. Super organised, always punctual, great at communicating - my daughter immediately felt at ease with Samad. He was calm - knew his stuff and we were delighted that after 10 x 2 hour lessons with Samad - she passed first time at Mill Hill. (I should say she had 4 hours with another instructor and also drove almost daily with me). But passing only 4 months after she turned 17 on busy London roads was achieved with Samad's professionalism and skill. Slightly less keen on Red's "extra" charges x 2 each time you book a block of lessons. They point these out but feels like a little bit of hidden charging in many ways. But the website / app is good and makes keeping track of appts / payments very easy. I appreciate these things cost money.

Most importantly - highly recommend Samad. I can see why he is hugely sought after and busy.

Amazing experience learning with Ross! Every lesson was tailored to suit my driving style, well-structured, and really helped build my confidence. He explains things clearly, adapts when needed, and has a great sense of humour, which made lessons enjoyable and stress-free.
Passed first time with only 2 minor faults, which says it all. Definitely worth every penny — highly recommend!

I’ve been doing lessons since January, have gone through hundreds of pounds and two different instructors both provided by Red Driving. I wouldn’t recommend if you live in West London. The quality of instructors is so bad. I had issues with my first instructor due to distance, they paired me with an instructor who wanted me to travel an hour by bus , (even though she said she covered my area), so it was more convenient for her to teach me. After multiple disagreements I requested another instructor who showed up a minimum of 45 minutes late every lesson &there were numerous occasions where she didn’t even show up, no text no call. It’s extremely frustrating, especially as now a days you’re lucky to find a test and then you have these instructors taking the piss with you. My test is on the 18th and I feel confident but I need those extra lessons to build more confidence and practice as much as possible before the test but can’t do so as the instructor keeps not showing up. Not worth it in my opinion, go private.

I passed my driving test first time after just 30 hours of lessons in 1.5 months with Abir Hammoud from RED Driving School, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better instructor.

Abir is extremely patient, calm, and supportive, but at the same time she pushes you to improve every lesson. She doesn’t just prepare you to pass the test — she actually teaches you how to drive properly and confidently for real-life situations.

Her teaching style made such a difference to my confidence, and she creates a really comfortable environment where you’re not scared to make mistakes and learn from them. On top of that, she’s hilarious and makes lessons something you actually look forward to.

If you want to pass quickly but also become a good, safe driver, I 100% recommend Abir.

Just passed my driving test. Had an amazing instructor, Syed Mohammad Khurram Gillani, who was very attentive and detailed with instructing but very personable and understanding especially when first learning. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

I booked a block of driving lessons with Samuel through RED Driving School on 3rd April for my son, and honestly, the whole experience has been a complete joke.

His first lesson on 23rd April was cancelled with less than an hour’s notice because the instructor had “double booked.” Annoying, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and rebooked. Big mistake.

29th April comes around—lesson booked for 9:45am—and once again, nothing. No message, no call. I had to chase him, only to be told he’d “double booked AGAIN” and thought he’d already text me. Then casually offered to rearrange for the next day or told us to “go with someone else.”

This isn’t bad luck—this is pure unprofessionalism and a complete waste of time, especially for a first-time learner who was really looking forward to getting started.

To top it off, when I contacted RED Driving School for a refund, there was zero apology or accountability—just a quick refund like this kind of thing happens all the time. That says everything.

Avoid. I won’t be using RED again, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely shocking driving school
I booked my sons test let his instructor know it was 6 months away and the night before his test his instructor text him to say another pupil has a test the same day she hadn’t noticed . So he had to sit in the car whilst the other pupil done their hour lesson before her test then he sat in the waiting room waiting on her coming back to do his test . When I complained they said they won’t do anything because no one has said anything was wrong in the past with this instructor

I had a great learning experience. My instructor Tanisha Broady is an exceptional teacher , every of my lessons came with so much motivation to learn more and her teaching skills are phenomenal.

Highly recommend RED Driving School! The instructor was very patient and supportive, making every lesson comfortable and productive. I improved quickly and felt fully prepared for my driving test. Great service overall!

I just finished my driving lessons with an instructor called John talbot. John is located in Buckingham but is more than happy to help anyone out in nearby areas. He was an amazing teacher as he was clam and encouraging in every lesson. John helped me past first time with only 1 minor which is just incredible. I would highly recommend him.
