A huge shout out to Coach Leigh. Her guidance throughout our 1:1 coaching sessions was truly eye-opening. The way she structured my workouts - stretching them from two weeks to four-to-six weeks compl... See more

Just do it
Completely changed my life. Best decision and worth the investment. My coach Val is the best. Listens and programs workouts around my busy work schedule.
The Best Investment
I am in the middle of my second year of 1:1 coaching and I cannot say enough good things about Cori’s program. Worth every penny!
I started lifting weights a year before I signed up with Redefining Strength. I lost 25 lbs on my own, but hit a plateau and wasn’t seeing the progress I thought I should be seeing n my own.
After researching training programs on line and consulting with a few of them, I landed on RS because the program and values fit me best. I knew how to lift, but I was well aware my nutrition was off.
By just tweaking my diet and giving me set nutrition goals, my remaining weight started falling off almost the first week I was in the program. My body was recomping right before my eyes within the first 6-8 weeks. Photos don’t lie.
The program is a huge investment so I told myself going in that I would follow everything my coach told me to do. I didn’t always follow perfectly, but I did 95% of the time. You have to trust the process. RS doesn’t promise a quick 3 month to build sexy arms or legs program. It takes time to achieve lasting results. Any influencer that says otherwise, is lying.
Since joining the program, I have lost a combined 19 inches from my body and am at a healthy weight. I eat an exorbitant amount of calories to give my body the fuel it needs to maintain muscle mass. I would not have gotten here without the nutrition coaching from my trainer.I am 58 years old and I look like an athlete.
Cori is very accessible in her program too. You aren’t just handed off to your trainer. If you have a specific question for Cori, she will answer.
RS changed my life by giving me sustainable tools to use for the rest of my life. Truly a game changer.
Recommend!
I have found the plan, workouts, nutritional goals as well as 1:1 coaching to be very beneficial. The communication and education has been superb. The coaches have matched my workouts with my schedule and goals. I have been encouraged, educated and motivated to challenge myself in workouts/weights, recovery, rest/sleep, nutrition and mental or mind/body connection. It does take time and consistency, but I have found Redefining Strength and the staff to be helpful in my productivity. I feel like we are working jointly on my behalf. I have complete confidence that any issue I have will be heard, addressed and suggestions for improvement are forthcoming. My coach has been extremely responsive to me and sensitive to my needs. It is not magic. But, I certainly am focused and centered and clear on what I need to do to see results and feel strong. Absolutely recommend. I am very pleased.
Biggest waste of money in my life
I signed up for the coaching program because I found Cori's videos to be brilliant and super informative. Unfortunately the coaches did not really follow Cori's methods. Repeatedly they gave me exercises that Cori's social media videos said were not right for me (knee pain when squatting, for example). Maybe their app has changed but I hated it- it was impossible to get any flow going. The macro advice made me gain fat. "Just follow what your coach says" they would say. I can't see how I was going to increase muscle with the workouts. Fortunately I found another trainer for a tiny fraction of the price with whom I do self-guided trainings. I've lost 10kg with him. I still believe Cori is great but the coaches/program was not. I'm only writing now because I just got a marketing email from them and I've thought about the massive difference between my current trainer and this program, I just never wrote. Redefining strength was probably the biggest waste of money I've ever spent in my 52 years.
Must Stay Healthy For This 1:1 Coaching
This company offers a 16-week or 52-week 1:1 personal coaching program. I opted for the 52-weeker, a substantial amount and required 50% down, and the remainder was divided into monthly payments charged to my credit card. Do thorough research before signing because the program is NON-Refundable once you sign on the dotted line.
My time on the 52-weeker is over, and I thought I would share my quick thoughts on the program for anyone interested.
Each enrollee is assigned a personal trainer who will formulate a personalized training program tailored to each person's fitness desire and level. I especially like that, as the trainer will adjust the training program to whatever equipment you have available or no equipment.
The training sessions take you through an extensive warm-up and stretching routine before the actual exercises. Follow the program and you rarely get any sore or aching muscles because of the pre and post warm-up and cool-down. In my workout sessions, the workout sessions came to about 1/3 of my sessions on actual strength training, while the remaining 2/3s time was spent on pre and post workout.
A lot of educational material and meetings to get the enrollee mentally prepared for the journey, and a community forum for continuing support. Since I knew what I wanted, I didn't join any of the discussion groups and rarely called into the monthly meetups with the personal trainer.
I injured myself a few times during the program, twisted my back, twisted my knee, fell down, and ended up with an infected knee, etc., and asked my program to be suspended until I recover. Evidently, suspension of a program with this company requires prior management approval, and all the suspensions that I requested were for nothing. The company did offer to discuss over a call regarding "my misunderstanding." I declined the call as a company without compassion is not one I wish to deal with.
In summary, this is a very expensive program. The program does work, but not as fast as you would like, which was stressed repeatedly. To do this program, you need to stay healthy. The assigned personal trainers are great. But I feel my progress could have been much more with another program.
