Until recently, I have always researched and booked my dive trips directly myself, never really seeing the need to leverage an agent. But after travelling to the Maldives (Laamu) recently with Reefscape Travel, my perspective on this has completely shifted, and I now plan to use them for all my trips going forward.

It's not just that Louisa and India have the most immense breadth and depth of expertise on all the different locations across the world, and are therefore able to provide unparalleled guidance and ideas. But what sets them apart is also that the execution is flawless - their ongoing attention to detail and strong emotional ownership of their clients' experiences, from the moment they arrive to once they are safely back home. There is no detail they don't think of, they are super on the ball and responsive if anything goes wrong, and because of the valued relationships they have built with their destination partners you are treated like absolute royalty.

I would highly recommend travelling with the Reefscape team, you won't regret it.

Louisa at Reefscape has booked many, many dive holidays for my wife and I (Maldives, Raja Ampat, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Alor, Komodo, and the Forgotten Islands to name a few). Each and every trip has been truly amazing; the reason being Louisa's encyclopaedic knowledge of diving and dive operators throughout the world. It also helps that Louisa and her business partner India both come from a background as professional divers, in addition to which Louisa is a qualified marine biologist. From initial conversations they quickly gain an understanding of their clients' experience, hopes and expectations based on which they identify a range of options that are then discussed and refined. As a result, when the trip is confirmed, every detail has been considered and nothing is left to chance - incredibly important if you are travelling in some of the most remote regions on the planet! Louisa is candid when she discusses the pros and cons of the various operators she is considering, and safety is always paramount. You could of course spend days trying to do this yourself. But why on earth would you when experts are on hand with years of relevant experience. I can guarantee that my wife and I wouldn't have even heard of (let alone visited) half the places we have been privileged enough to dive in and explore if it hadn't been for Louisa. I cannot recommend Reefscape Travel too highly. I wouldn't trust my dive travel with anyone else.

I’ve been planning and traveling with Reefscape since 2022, and the experience has completely transformed how I approach dive travel. Louisa, and her partner India, have shaped some of the most unforgettable trips I’ve ever taken, turning ideas into incredibly well-executed adventures.

Each trip is thoughtfully tailored, with every detail carefully handled—not just during the planning phase, but throughout the journey itself. I never feel like I’m on my own once the trip begins, which makes a huge difference.

So far, we’ve traveled to the Sea of Cortez, Raja Ampat (twice), Socorro, Palau, the Maldives, Tanzania (for an incredible safari and dive combination), and the Yucatán. Coming up next are the Galápagos, another return to Raja Ampat, and French Polynesia—which says everything about how much we trust her recommendations.

What really stands out is how much time Louisa takes upfront to understand exactly what we’re looking for. She brings extensive firsthand knowledge of destinations and operators, from liveaboards to land-based experiences, and matches us with the right fit every time.

She strikes a perfect balance between sustainability, supporting locally owned operators, and delivering a high-end experience—while always prioritizing safety. She’s also refreshingly honest about the pros and cons of each option, so expectations are always clear.

Timing is everything in dive travel, and she ensures we’re going at the right season for the experiences we care most about. She also understands the realities of the market—booking well in advance when needed to secure the best boats, rooms, and guides.

Louisa is incredibly attentive to individual needs, tailoring trips to experience level and coordinating directly with operators when accommodations are needed. She’s even arranged private dive guides for us, which made the experiences feel even more personal.

I spent decades planning my own travel and never thought I needed a specialist—but after working with Louisa, I can’t imagine going back. I don’t have to worry about a single detail, and it doesn’t cost any more than booking on my own.

Whether it’s a last-minute trip or something planned years in advance, she is always responsive, flexible, and a true pleasure to work with.

Louisa and India are superb. I really needed a break and contacted them to book a last minute trip. They turned around a number of suggestions within a matter of hours, and the trip was booked and confirmed the following day.

They are friendly, kind, knowledgeable and extremely efficient.

The trip met all expectations and I couldn’t have asked for more.

I met Louisa on a dive trip to Wakitobi in Indonesia and I was immediately struck by her enthusiasm and knowledge. I shared about a dream of traveling to Africa but no previous experience there. She asked about our interests, travel preferences and she offered to put something together. What resulted was a bespoke 16-day trip that exceeded our wildest expectations. She and India tapped their extensive knowledge and connections to assemble a blend of locales and lodges that gave us an amazing first experience in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Private tours and coordinated travel were important to our four-person group and every detail was flawlessly handled. There is nothing more comforting than a warm, friendly face when you get to an unfamiliar airport or border crossing. The lodges and camps were unique and delivered the perfect blend of luxury and authentic experiences - all within our budget. Guides and experiences were incredible. We reduced our original group size from six to four and the team at Reefscape were able to adjust the schedule and still keep everything private. Their pre-trip itineraries and prep info was amazing and our trip app provided every detail we needed on-line. They made sure we had 24-hour support if needed and we felt so comfortable throughout the trip. We can't say enough about this amazing team and we can't wait for our next trip with Reedscapes!

It has taken us a few weeks to write this review as we've been struggling trying to find the words to describe how amazing this honeymoon was! I honestly did not realize travel agents were still around these days but our colleague who recently enjoyed his unforgettable honeymoon to the Maldives told us to use Reefscape Travel when planning our honeymoon the following year.

So I did just that, reached out and had an immediate reply. We did not have much time to plan as our work schedules constantly shift and fill up quick. India at Reefscape Travel was amazing in locking down locations quick so we wouldn't miss out. I had never used a travel agent before but it took all the planning, bookings, and worry out of it. We just had to show up and enjoy the ride, which we certainly did.

We decided on Belize as we did not want to spend much time travelling with our limited vacation days. It was a short two flights and one boat ride later and we were in Belize and on the stunning Turneffe Island Resort. The Turneffe Island Resort was luxurious! We had the honeymoon suite and it was truly magical, outdoor showers, infinity pool, AC and all beautifully crafted wooden furniture. The diving was stellar, only taking 5 minutes to reach the dive site, and then surface intervals back at the island resort before heading out for the afternoon dives. The food was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and really lovely to chat too. It was a hard place to leave but hoping we will be back again.

After the 6 days of diving we travelled inland to Chaa Creek Lodge to spend 4 days in the rainforest. Again Reefscape Travel did a tremendous job with the selection of accommodation. Chaa Creek was truly spectacular! The staff's attention to detail was so moving when they surprised me on my birthday with gifts at the door and flowers at dinner. They even provide a beautiful butterfly chrysalis in each room that hatches during our stay. Chaa Creek Lodge offered so many complimentary tours that we didn't prebook many excursions. We did one day of excursions to the Belize Zoo and Cave Tubing at Jaguar Paw. This was such a special day as we had the most knowledgeable and passionate tour guide Allan Edgar Chan who shared so much of his beautiful country with us.

Belize did not disappoint! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and Reefscape Travel knew the best spots to go for some adventure and relaxation in luxury.

India was prompt at answering my queries, knew exactly how to narrow down my search from my very confused starting point, and was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about diving and travelling in a way that really got me pumped for my own trip. India and Louisa at Reefscape were amazing in shaping my first proper dive experience. From the first phone call where I explained what I was looking for, they were super responsive and patient in answering all my questions, and highly attentive to detail. India worked extremely hard to give our family the perfect holiday for my wife's big birthday present. This included complicated diving arrangements (our children were finishing their PADI qualifications) as well as helping us when we needed to change our dates and accommodation choices. I can't recommend these knowledgeable, efficient and lovely people enough!

Reefscape Travel planned a holiday of a lifetime for our entire family spanning three generation over Christmas. They choose two perfect Islands for us in the Maldives.
