So needing help to rebuild my credit I basically THOUGHT this was a great approach. I signed up for the “fake loan” made payments everything was going well. I had so hardships at the time so I decided to get my money back and stop the services with refreshscam financiallyfucksyou. I call them and they basically tell me I am not able to to just stop my fake loan.. I lost it and told them I no longer need your services. The agent then says since I didn’t finish paying the fake loan I cannot return my funds as I don’t qualify. MY FUNDS paid into a fake loan. Lost 2354 bucks that day

This company is a scam or it is not legit. I have Equifax investigating a derogatory trade on my credit report. I have no idea who this company is. so I've asked Equifax for a copy of the for said documents they have to prove any debt against me. But I cant seem to get ahold of the company them selves. I click on their link and it takes me to the Borrowell credit reporting website. funny if they are all in the same bed together.?

Super scammy, poor customer service, hard to get ahold of, unclear communication and requirements for identification, refusal to accept government certified ID. Do NOT use this company. They will lie to you and steal from you.

If you are getting anything other then this plan below they are ripping you off. Interest rate is not the same across the plans. They will report on time but also do highway robbery where 50% of your payment or more goes to the company.

My daughter had an account with Refresh and had $4600, $300 refund owing on her Visa. She passed away suddenly and we contacted them on Dec 12 by email and got an email back from Lang Dec 15th stating someone would contact us. Still waiting!! Call their number and hit option get a recording that business hours are 10-3 eastern standard time no matter what time of day I call and get disconnected. Hard enough to have to deal with things at this time . Never mind being ignored.

Had the card for a year then all of a sudden "card expired" called them and was told security issue..card was cancelled..New one in 4 to 6 weeks. 5 weeks later...we are ending our secured card program refund of deposit will be sent in 4 to 6 weeks....bulls@_÷

Sent $500 for the secured card after approval. Told 6 weeks later there's a "card shortage" so they're closing my account. Won't return my deposit as I no longer have a Canadian bank account. I'm not letting the company keep my funds. I have a child on the way in 4 months and won't even let that stop me from doing everything possible to get my money returned. If it means a lengthy legal battle, so be it. They'll end up having to reimburse me for the legal costs anyway.

Terrible billing and reporting. Poor customer service, lacking in communication and knowledge. Moving to capital one. Don't waste your time here

Stay away from this company.
I got their secured card and credit builder loan.
It took 4 months for them to finally report to the credit bureaus, and they reported false information on my report severely damaging my credit score.
I keep a zero balance and have never been late.
I basically paid these guys to wreck my credit...horrible, stressful experience.
Read the BBB of B.C. complaints about this company....there are many others going through the same thing as I am because of this shady operation.

Refresh is the best credit building place ever in Canada. I don't think the bad feed back is 100 percent true IDK but anyways. as a costumer and they offered me products tailored for me. My credit was very bad from a marriage that ended., With in a few months my credit got very good. and now been 2 years time to close my account. I have awesome credit.. I used the credit building loan first. Then as my score got better I added the credit card and black tier level and watched my credit get to where it should be.. I would recommend everyone use this to get a credit rating or to rebuild..

VERY scary company. They needed to refund over $600 to me. They sent me a link to verify my bank information. I did it - at my bank, but my bank was worried that it was some kind of scam. Well -- seems it was because 5 days later I don't have my money which was to be e-transfered to my bank. I have tried phoning 4 times without avail. Even scarier, Refresh Financial does not have chat, and their phone numbers disconnect once you choose the option that you are an existing company. Right now they have over $1000 of my money and I am worried that I may never see that money again.
