Have been seeking couple therapy…

Have been seeking couple therapy sessions with Regain part of BetterHelp and the assigned therapist Oliver Harper has been very helpful in assessing issues we had between my wife and I and providing constructive counseling in providing us a chance to seek resolution and helping with creating effective communication with coping skills and strategies. He has been phenomenal and and active listener in understanding our relationship.

7 day trial scam!!!!

I signed up for the 7 day trial scam and booked a slot with a couple counselor which I ended up canceling because I found a real life counselor and it was better. I canceled the membership and weirdly enough received no email but didn't think much of it until they charged me 200 euros for the subscription I NEVER USED!!

I request a refund no questions asked because you certainly know what I'm talking about. Change your ways because truly I'll be speaking about this everywhere on social media and on websites and will find other people you've scammed to sue your company for these unlawful practices.

I booked one appointment…Disaster

I booked one appointment in a moment of sheer desperation. 6months later I discovered they had been charging my credit card $440 a month. I received no tax invoice by text or email which would have alerted me to these charges. I subsequently found multiple automated messages in my spam account notifying me that I was ‘inactive’ on the platform.
Update: I received a refund.

Don't waste your money

Don't waste your money. The therapist cancelled our session with 1hr notice saying she had just given birth. I think she could have forseen the arrival of her child and blocked out the calendar in advance! Just a horrible company that milks people's sign up fee and then pairs them with terrible therapists.

They owe me 275 pounds!

My husband and I used ReGain. The match you up with a therpist that has zero availability. Their therapists are bottom of the barrel. The first one we had we did two sessions with. We spent most of our time repeating ourselves and spent a lot of time talking about himself. We were assigned another one as that didn't work out. This guy had even less availability and ended out meeting at 40 minutes. I cancelled my membership with 5 unused sessions in which they told me I would be refunded for any sessions I don't use and now no one will get back to me and it has been nearly 2 weeks. They owe me 275 pounds. After you contact them, they send a generic email and then if you try and email them back, you will not get a reply.

I have enjoyed Regain so much

I have enjoyed Regain so much! I am newly married and needed some assistance that I wasn’t drawn to share with my family or friends. The 1st session and the continuous follow-ups providers my spouse and I foundation and consistent reminders. My spouse and I are very grateful!

I was skeptical of an online therapist

I was skeptical of an online therapist. Thinking they would be freelancing therapists collecting checks after their day job. No way, my therapist only works through the app and takes it serious. She was as invested in my story as I was. There was even a point she was mad at me for my decisions. Thats what i need, not someone to take notes and nod their head but to tell me to get squared away.

Regain Relationship Counselling is Awesome…

Regain Relationship Counselling has been with a blessing to my husband and I. We have been paired with beautiful soul called Annie McFadden and she truly is so amazing. We have just recently started therapy sessions with her and I can’t even explain how helpful she has been. She is an amazing listener, advisor and to top it off for us as Christians she is a God fearing warrior of the Lord. 🙏 I can’t recommend Regain/Betterhelp enough. And the additional bonus is they are soooo cost effective, the best value for relatively less money for life changing help you could find. If you need relationship counselling or any type of counselling for that matter don’t grand sign up. The flexibility of appointments plus the fact that you get to be counselled from the comfort of your own home or wherever you are in the world as long as you have an internet connection is revolutionary. When signing up you also get a ginormous variety of therapists to choose from based on your needs or requirements. I couldn’t recommend Regain/Betterhelp enough.

My abusive ex entered my information on…

My abusive ex entered my information on this platform to sign "us" up for "therapy" without my consent. Because he is the account owner, regain REFUSES to delete my information, even though he has no legal right to give out my information for any reason. We were never married and he was abusive, and continues to be through platforms like Regain. THEY SUPPORT ABUSERS THROUGH THE POLICY THAT VICTIMS CANNOT DELETE THEIR OWN INFORMATION.

Edit: Their response is a lie. I have several emails back and forth with them in which they tell me they can’t delete only my info because they would have to delete the entire account… that my abuser made/owns. They are lying and still refuse to delete my information. I should not have to contact or beg my abuser to delete information he has no right to hold hostage in the first place.

Platform does not always work and therapists no time

Platform doesn’t seem to always work. Therapists do not have available time always. Contact team are really helpful but in our case it didn’t work.

I shouldn't even give it 1 star...
My experience has been awful! I paid for a membership for 200 euro! I have had one session! I've had one session so far!!! My therapist has been so unprofessional..it seemed as if she was high! She kept asking me the same question over and over again! She was so slow and groggy! She opened a can of coke in our session! I changed therapists and I contacted the new one , it took her ages to reply... It's been weeks and I've had no good experience! My questions with my first therapist was so weird and so unassociated with anything like do I have a heart condition the questions made absolutely no help she took so long to ask them..she also asked me "how my homework was", I said I didn't get any and she was like oh I just thought it was too much for you, you need to process things, is this a joke?..she didn't even know what patient she was with..the app is so bad! The video kept going off! The first therapist knew about it and told me to get another app, better help which is a completely different association..she said mmmm...its like she was completely out of it!! I want my money back immediately!!! My weeks are up for the four week membership...I've had one session! It's been over four weeks and no appointments

7 day trial / trap

Signed up to the service, was unsure whether to go ahead or not. Regain offered a 7 day trial which included an intro call with a therapist.... The therapist was unavailable until the 7th day (conveniently) Had one message to confirm the meeting which is later on today and then have been charged £240 before the intro session. No chat to discuss with anyone online, would like to be refunded as haven't had what was promised. Would like Regain to contact me asap.

Very unhappy with the service regarding…

Very unhappy with the service regarding a subscription issue. The therapy service was great, however, I canceled my subscription and was given an additional three weeks for free as a kind gesture in caring for mental health. I realized this week that my card was charged again for another month of therapy when I had already submitted a cancellation. When contacting customer service, I was told that I would be reached out to within one or two days. When someone did reach out to me, instead of moving forward with a reimbursement, I was told that I was being given three extra weeks free of charge to try and reconnect with my therapist again. The reason I was canceling the subscription was due to my new occupation included therapy services through my health insurance. Very, very unhappy about this, especially since it's $260 that I was expecting to have in my bank account that is not available.

A Solid Therapy Option for Today's Busy Lifestyles

The convenience and availability of our sessions around our busy lifestyle makes Regain a great therapy option for my spouse and I. Our therapist is prompt in communication and session times and so caring. We feel heard and validated as she listens to our concerns and helps us navigate through the rough patches of relationships. We are very pleased with our experience so far.

Hard start but final outcome better

My initial response:
I’ve had a difficult time finding time slots for the two of us, and due to no fault of hers, our therapist.we have yet to have a session and yet I’ve been charged for two months of service. The problem now is that I’ve yet to receive a response from the support team and so we feel we e paid a lot of money- for, as of now, nothing.

So after a bad start, a customer service person got back in touch with me to offer a full refund. This will allow me to start fresh. The therapist we were matched to sounded very good- so that was not an issue, at least for us- we had several chats on the app, and I was left with a good impression of her. I will probably go back and ask for a therapist who can offer more slots, or slots at times that work better for us- because if I pay for four sessions upfront, I want to be that I'm actually able to schedule four sessions in the month that the account is activated. I had initially rated ReGain one star, but am increasing to four due to the improved customer service I experienced.
