Predatory loan practices

This company using very predatory loan practices. When paying off a $22000 loan for 2 years at $252 per month, they informed me I only paid off $900 of the loan. Because they are only putting $5 towards the principal balance and the remaining $248 go straight into interest. This is total bs. DO NOT USE THIS BANK FOR ANY LOANS!!!! Horrible practices. Thats why they've change their names from enerbank because if the terrible review do to this practice. STAY AWAY!

They hide their fees and daily charges…

They hide their fees and daily charges in all the paperwork. I would tell everyone don’t feel pressured by them to sign until you completely go over all the paperwork. Luckily for us I was able to come up with money and to pay them off and they still would not negotiate to wave their outlandish daily fees. Total crooks !

Never ever use this bank

Never ever use this bank! I have spent numerous hours with Regions Corporate and in the branches trying to get them not to pay anything if I did not have money to pay it. They disregarded this at least a dozen times and charge me overdraft fees. The business account don’t do it if you need to send a wire, there is either a glitch in the system with the app or on the website when you sign up to do it yourself to save time from going into the branch it never once in two years has a wire gone out the same day 50% of the time it takes two days or never even goes at all, therefore charging me late fees from who it’s going to because it never arrived on time. What do they have to say they don’t know nobody will ever tell you the same answer to your question different branches. Tell you different things different people on the phone tell you different things they will screw your life if you use this bank I refuse to pay these charges so they sent me to collections now I have the collections on my report.

I'm a over 10 yr customer of regions

I'm a over 10 yr customer of regions. I have used Regions on S FL Ave in Lakeland FL. I been working with Perzaye Goodman as my banker building my credit along with other credit building. I did the secured loan thru Goodman paid the loan off in 4 1/2 months and it didn't help my credit. So I used kickoff got my FICO to 640 with kickoff I applied with regions for a car loan. Called Goodman to ask about the car loan. He said his manager was in a meeting but he'd call me back within the hour. 2 days later still no call back. I've called left messages 2 days later still no call back. Very unprofessional

Quick version

Quick version: My mom passed away late 2025, and I'm still struggling to get her affairs in order with this bank. Despite mailing and faxing them all requested documentation, they won't even verify that they've closed out her bank card (so that it doesn't accrue any fees)... Just received a letter regarding over 7,000 reward points that she had accrued, and that they could be redeemed for cash/ gift cards. When I called the bank to inquire how to have them redeemed, I was informed that since she died, no one else could redeem the points. Even though I am the trustee of her estate... And even though she earned those points. WOW.

I had a deeply troubling experience at…

I had a deeply troubling experience at this Regions Bank location (15702 Kingfield Dr, Houston, TX 77084). On December 12, 2025, I went in simply to deposit a check and was subjected to discriminatory and harassing behavior by the branch manager, Reggie Brad. He made inappropriate and disrespectful remarks about me and my account, escalated the interaction unnecessarily, and even threatened to call the police and close my account without cause.

On January 7, 2026, I later discovered that my account had been closed without any notice or explanation, despite being in good standing with a positive balance and no issues. This occurred after I had already raised concerns about his conduct, making the situation feel retaliatory and unacceptable.

After reading other reviews, it appears this is not an isolated issue at this branch. Customers should be aware and exercise caution. This type of behavior is not okay, and bank management needs to be held accountable.

Updated Review – January 9, 2026

This is an update to my prior review, and unfortunately the situation has only gotten worse.

After experiencing unprofessional, discriminatory, and retaliatory behavior from the branch manager, Reggie Brad, I made multiple attempts to resolve this matter by contacting other Regions Bank branches and speaking with additional managers. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, the situation was treated dismissively, almost as a joke, and handled in an extremely unprofessional manner.

Regions Bank ultimately chose to keep my account closed without providing any legitimate explanation, notice, or justification—despite my account being in good standing. This occurred after I had previously filed a complaint regarding the branch manager’s conduct, which makes the situation feel retaliatory.

At this point, I fully understand why this location—and Regions Bank overall—has such poor ratings. The customer service is terrible, management lacks accountability, and there is no meaningful support when serious issues arise. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a financial institution.

I will be escalating this matter to regulatory agencies, including the CFPB, FDIC, and BBB, due to the harassment, discrimination, and retaliation I experienced at this location.

I strongly caution anyone considering banking here to think twice. If something goes wrong, do not expect professionalism, transparency, or support.

Regions Bank in Olive Branch

Regions Bank in Olive Branch, Ms.
I did a large withdrawal out of my Business Account on Monday. It took over 20 to 30 minutes to do so. The Teller talked and was acting very strange. She took me to the cash machine to count my money but while standing there she left me standing at the machine with the money more than one time. I went home and got ready to end my day because I have DDD. The next day the Holy Spirit said count money. I counted the money and somehow $200.00 was missing. I contacted the Regions Bank Corp to file a complaint. Please everyone, count your money before you leave Regions Bank. I called the Olive Branch Regions and the Gm wasn't available so I was told. Went into the bank yesterday and was told that they would look into it and will put in a notice to review cameras to see if everything was counted correctly. I asked if they could review the movements of the teller as well because I was left at the money machine while she was walking around. Let's see what happens. As of 1/13/2026 I have heard nothing from this bank concerning my funds. Doing an update**** Nothing Region can do because they found nothing. Their cash machine will be correct and the tellers register because my money was taken after this. This was the reason I was left standing by the cash machine with cash. The teller and the lady she went across the room to talk to did this. But God saw it all and I trust my Lord. Its sad. Everyone please count your money a second time before you leave the bank. Gods got it.

Stay as far away from this bank as…

Stay as far away from this bank as possible. Customer service at the customer service center is.non-existant and reps.can be quite rude. They are great at taking your money, but not so hot at allowing you to take it. Tagged fraud with no explanation then require (in this case) 300 mile trip to unlock the account. 87 year old and Wheel chair bound.

The Collierville branch location is…

The Collierville branch location is awful and its upper management at that branch need to be replaced. The bank put a hold on my check and the 800 number told me the branch can remove. Spoke with Chris Gretanti there and he lied that only the back office could remove but could not give me a name or number to the back office. Also could not give me a reason for the hold.

I’m extremely disappointed with Regions…

I’m extremely disappointed with Regions Bank after they misplaced over $3,000 of my funds and have offered no resolution. After submitting all requested documentation and repeatedly following up with support, the issue remains unresolved and the money is still missing. Communication has been slow, inconsistent, and unhelpful—leaving me frustrated and out thousands of dollars.

As a small business owner, I rely on a payment processor I can trust. Losing access to funds that rightfully belong to me has caused unnecessary stress and financial strain. I expected better professionalism and accountability from a major banking company like Regions. Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend their services to anyone who needs dependable, transparent support.

Was a good bank, recent years not so much.

Sometimes your check goes through sometimes it takes days and usually when you need it the most. Same checks from same company two different wait times. Since they updated atms my checks no longer are accepted that way when for years it was never an issue. The fees and missing money gets out of control. Who told you to update my card info with everybody, maybe some don't need it anymore but you took that control away. Contacting via text about making a deposit on days when banks are closed the nation over is ridiculous.

If i saw their reviews earlier it would of saved me alot of time and money. Opened an estate trust account with and EIN number. Receives letter stating I had to have copy of proof and had 30 days to get to them b4 they closed the account. Got it there 2 days b4 deadline and was recommended not to deposit anymore money till they reviewed the account. 7 days later they tell me they are closing account. Never new a bank to turn away money and I had alot to deposit. They suck.

Worse bank in the industry nothing but…

Worse bank in the industry nothing but problems that can never be resolved because of “Our system our system” From clicking there “$300 sign up bonus” which I did all the qualifying requirements that I never received and they blamed on “Our system” still couldn’t honor it. Then Refferal bonus and again “there was an error in our system” to withholding funds on transactions for days!! That were never authorized or even made. To the point where they overdraw my account by with holding my money so long all my bills get taken out and then charge me overdraft fees that “There system can’t authorized to waive” just robbery , misleading, misinformation , ZERO solutions to any problems they just have people that answer the phone to speak on the behalf of “There system”
