€917 charged without upfront pricing – issue not resolved and no accountability
I contacted this company based on low starting prices advertised on their website. Before this, two other plumbers had visited my home, were unable to identify the issue, and charged only around €20 for their visit.
With this company, I paid €150 for the first visit. After that, I had to chase the plumber for nearly three weeks for follow-up and clarity. When I eventually contacted the agency directly, the person on the phone was extremely rude and ended the call abruptly.
This interaction gave me the strong impression that the plumber and the “agency” are effectively the same person or entity, which was not made transparent at any point.
I was later presented with an additional invoice of €767.99 for an “inspection”, despite the final report clearly stating that the problem was not resolved and instead recommending replacing radiators with electric radiators. No quotation, cost estimate, or warning of such high charges was provided beforehand. Inspection costs were never explained or agreed in advance.
The invoice states that the customer agreed to and accepted the pricing, which is incorrect in my case. When I formally disputed the charges and asked for a fair review, the company refused without addressing any of the concerns raised.
I also noticed that the positive reviews displayed on the company’s website could not be independently verified on Google or Trustpilot.
In my experience, this resulted in a total bill of €917.99 with no solution provided. I am still seeking a fair resolution. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to insist on a written quotation and full cost transparency before proceeding with any work.
