I got scammed in july 2024
I got scammed in july 2024 , I asked for help to remitbee to help me to get my funds back but they just backout by saying it's not their responsibility they can't do anything . I asked for help from my bank (scotia)by exp-laining them the situation they said to wait 1 month while they investigate I waited for a month and after that bank refund my money i didnot know what they did but happy atleast they help me and today Nov 2024 , am sending money to my parents in india and remitbee put my transaction on hold by stating (I breach the contract by telling bank to chargeback remitbee about that fraud amount and now I need to pay them for that amount after that they will release my funds) What the hell , you guys did not helped me , I marked those transactions fraud and inform my bank they did their process .How can you ask money from me. You guys are fraud . Don't send money through remibee they will not help their customers but will harass them like thwy did with me right now.
I want to share after story as well, remitbee fraudulently hold my funds and gave option to deduct their share only then they can release the balance amount. I left with no options because they hold my whole amount.
Recently same happened with *Remitly* but in good terms. As my other transaction was from remitly . I came accross the same scenario. I put my funds in remitly account; they hold it; and informed my bank charge them back. However, officer told me that they were not gonna process my transaction but they have no right to hold ut as well. So they reflect funds back to my account. This is authenticity and professionalism. Not like remitbee frauds.

The recall request was escalated, and a hold on the recipient account was requested. The matter was reported to our overseas partner, who has raised multiple follow-ups with NPCI. No response has been received from the beneficiary bank to date.
Recalls are not guaranteed and remain subject to the cooperation of the recipient bank and account holder. In accordance with RemitBee’s terms and conditions, users are responsible for maintaining account security, and RemitBee bears no liability for transactions related to fraud or scams.
Furthermore, you have initiated a chargeback with your bank notwithstanding that the transactions were completed successfully. This constitutes a breach of the contractual agreement between RemitBee and yourself. Your failure to fund and pay for the completed transactions has resulted in RemitBee being deprived of lawful payment for services that were acknowledged and accepted.

Nightmare Customer Service
It is a nightmare to get responses from customer service. A got a call to my cell phone from a customer service rep whose English I could not decipher. How can you have somebody on staff that cannot be understood. After sven emails I still do not have a response to my query about a transaction. Second time I use. The first time no problem, this time a very frustrating experience. I will never use again. Beware!!!

I have been using this service for more than 10 years; however, lately their service has been tardy. They’ve not kept up their time commitments. To add to it, the customer service outsourced to a foreign country is pathetic.
I run a charity, 80 children depend on this money on a scholarship scheme. The timing is crucial. Not even an apology from anyone.

Remitbee is a big scam. Don’t be deceived by what others have posted here. They have employed incompetent customer service agents . I sent money to my home county to be used for medical treatment and they screwed me up . The money was actually meant for surgery and they needed a down payment before they begin. I called these guys several times and they keep telling me they have escalated the issue and still waiting to hear back from the service provider . It’s over 24 hours these guys keep saying the same thing . They have employed some lazy guys who can’t even speak English . They don’t be deceived . My money is still hanging in there . I have asked them to reverse the transaction and they keep telling me nonsense.

This app is favoring some people but not me, maybe because I'm not an Indian. I sent money for over 24hrs now not received. Their customer service is just telling me different intangible reasons for delaying processing my transactions. They will say it'll be processed in few minutes, after hours still not processed..just sick and tired of them..

Delayed Transfer, No Refund, Unhelpful and Evasive Support – Very Disappointe
I used Remitbee to send money on [august 1 2025], with the promise of a fast Interac transfer. It’s now been over a week, and the money has not reached the recipient. Despite multiple calls and follow-ups with customer service, I’ve only received evasive responses, shifting excuses, and even rude or dismissive behavior from agents when I ask for a refund or a timeline.
Every time I ask for accountability, they tell me to “wait” with no clear explanation or resolution. I was assured of a 100% Money-Back Guarantee if the transfer failed or was delayed—but they have not honored it. Instead, I feel ignored and left in the dark.
What started as a simple transfer has turned into a stressful situation where my money is being held against my will. Their behavior has caused me to lose trust in the platform completely. I’ve already contacted my bank and local authorities and will escalate this further if it’s not resolved immediately.
If this is how Remitbee treats customers when things go wrong, I cannot recommend this service to anyone. A company that offers financial services should be transparent, professional, and responsive—not evasive and confrontational.
I’m requesting:
• A full refund of my money
• A written apology and explanation
• Immediate closure of this issue
If Remitbee wants to resolve this professionally, I’m still open to communication. But ignoring or avoiding the issue is unacceptable.

>i sent money to Gcash mobile wallet in Philippines, its now 118hrs and 33 minutes (5days) before the money was received. the money was sent March 25 but received March 30.
>DELAYED RECEIPT OF FUNDS:the customer service of remitbee said there is technical problem with their international partner and “escalated” the isse to international partnner, my recipient has to wait another 24-48hrs.
>MISLEADING INFORMATION: In their app, it indicates within 2 business days funds will be received.
>PROCESS A TRANSACTION NOT REQUESTED: the customer service reprocess the transaction when i requested for return of funds.

I've gone through multiple step to get to a high verification level but even then some of my transaction are taking much longer than it should to complete to go through more verification.
I appreciate that the the transaction were flagged for verification, it is a great security features as I moved lots of money. However, this process should be more streamlined.
