At first, the platform looked interesting, and I began to sign up, but they wanted too much information, including tax ID (SSN) and a copy of the document (Social Security card). However, they are a Ukraine-based company, so there shouldn't have been a need for even my SSN, and even American companies have never asked me for a copy of my Social Security card. I tried to decline including this and write a note, but the verification system did not allow this, so I decided not to proceed.

At best, maybe they do need this for their Ukrainian employees, and they just forgot to include an option for American applicants to bypass this option. At worst, maybe they are trying to steal American's identities. Either way, I'm not risking it.
