Excellent service!
After 8 months, including a cold winter, the 20 extra solar panels and Powerwall 3 are still performing excellently.
The house and garage were left clean and tidy every day, and the team were all extremely polite and considerate. The finish was really good and the handover of the completed system was clear and succinct. Both the new and old solar panels cooperate through the battery and gateway - and the electricity cupboard was left neat and tidy.
Alan popped out for a look after we had a couple of RCD cut outs in the first fortnight. He made a minor adjustment and we've had no trouble since.
It's April now and we have been between 65% and 85% self powered over the last week.
Note: If you have a FIT tariff for previously installed solar panels then start the process to have your export rate (not generation rate) switched over to Octopus or whoever, before your solar panels are installed. There is so much paperwork and waiting for the DNO and Octopus (to respond) involved that it took until early March before we were being credited for anything we exported after the installation.
Looking at our current usage, we would have probably benefitted from an expansion pack or two for the battery. Currently we are on the Octopus cozy tariff, but when we switch to a cheap overnight rate that's probably the time for us to get more batteries.
I would choose Allan again when it's time to upgrade my system, and would recommend him to anyone else in the meantime.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it is important to share my experience with Valente Group Ltd (Renew-Able Solutions) given the seriousness of what has occurred.

I engaged the company to install a full renewable energy system at my property, including a heat pump, solar panels, pipework, and battery storage. The total contract value was £25,524.86, of which I have paid £22,614.62 (approximately 88%).

From the outset, the system did not perform as expected and has had ongoing issues since installation in October December 2025.

On 20 March 2026, representatives attended my property to review the system. After leaving, they entered my private garage without my knowledge or consent and removed battery units from the system.

This action has rendered the entire system non-functional and has left my home fully reliant on grid electricity.

I had not authorised any removal of equipment, and at the time there was an ongoing dispute regarding system performance and final payment.

The incident has been formally reported to Police Scotland, captured all events on CCTV. The matter is also being pursued through formal legal channels and escalated to relevant regulatory bodies including TrustMark, MCS, RECC, Trading Standards.

I would strongly urge anyone considering this company to ensure:
– All contractual terms are fully understood in writing
– Ownership and payment terms are clearly documented
– Independent advice is sought before making significant payments

This situation has caused significant disruption, financial loss, and stress, and remains unresolved at the time of writing.

We used Renew-Able Solutions to install solar panels and a battery, and we are very satisfied with the entire experience. The initial survey was comprehensive and with no hard sell tactics, which we appreciated.
The installation itself was very professional throughout. Alan and his team arrived when promised and completed the work to a high standard. They were happy to answer our questions and kept us well informed at every stage of the process.
The system has been working great since installation, and we're delighted with the results. We would happily recommend Renew-Able Solutions to anyone considering similar work.

Having had work done by 3 other solar installers over the years, I would have to say, Renew able solutions were by far the best. Alan was always contactable and and was always pleasant to deal with. Price was excellent. We are really pleased with our additional system. Definitely recommend this company. So much so, that we looking to install heat pump next year.

Excellent, knowledgeable staff who inspired trust in their experience and willingness to tailor a solution to fit my needs. Streets ahead of the salespeople other companies sent out! Agreed an install date for EV charger and it was installed to a high standard and I am very happy.

We recently had solar PV, inverter and battery installed by Renew-Able Solutions and were very impressed by the quality of their work and by the care and service provided by Alan, Robin and Euan.
Throughout the process Alan was happy to answer all of our questions and queries. He also kept us fully informed of developments and timings, which was much appreciated.

Alan and his team did a great job in installing our new EV charger. Arranged a survey promptly. Assisted in having our electricity supply unlooped, (I didn’t even know we were looped) then completed the installation as soon as that was done. Turned up when they said, we couldn’t have asked for more. Always very friendly on the phone.

After being let down by my initial choice of installer I contacted Alan for a quotation.
His installers arrived for a survey and I told them what the previous company had proposed.
They said they would not install them as they proposed and offered bigger panels supplying more power along with the Tesla Powerwall 3.
I got a better package at a lower price and the installation went very smoothly.
I was so impressed I got them to install my EV wall charger as well

Alan and his team were excellent from initial query, eager to come out and see the scope of the works and discuss options. They have a number of manufacturer accreditations and listed on manufacturers websites. Reviews are excellent and Facebook posts show they are proud of their work. They installed 20 solar panels, 16KWh battery system with gateway, new EV charger and replaced the fuse board. All was done on time with minimal disruption. Alan kept me informed all the way through the process and helped with questions after the install. Cannot recommend highly enough. They do care and do a great job.

Highly recommend Alan and his team. Very friendly and competitively priced, the guys always showed up on time and kept me informed throughout the whole process of installing my 12 solar panels and 10.5kwh battery. The job was completed on time and Alan’s after sales customer care is superb as he is always on hand to offer advice or answer any queries you may have about your new system. Alan and Robin are the 'dream team'. From my initial recommendation and introduction, to the slick and efficient installation of my new 10kwh battery all went super smoothly. I can not recommend them enough, so much so, they have already done work for my brother and I have recommended to my next door neighbours.

The recommendation came from my son who had been rescued by Alan from some rogue traders.
Alan has installed and air source heat pump, 14 solar panels and a battery. Communications have been by return and he is always available on the phone for a chat. He is well acquainted with the workings of the Energy Savings Trust and has guided me through all the mechanics of receiving the available grants and loans. All the work has been carried out efficiently and on time. I cannot recommend Renew-able Solutions too highly.

First class from start to finish and a lovely bunch of people. Work done considerately and too a very high standard. Would highly recommend for anyone getting an air source heat pump. Many thanks!

Helpful professional experts, very happy to recommend for solar and batteries in particular (which is what I had installed). I'd been searching for a good installer for some time (previous one went bust) and just happened to see a Renew-Able van whilst walking the dog - glad I did.

Throughout our enquiries and installation Alan was extremely helpful. Turned up when promised and did a good job of the installation.
Was excellent in getting to the bottom of issues with our mixed generations of GivEnergy batteries and dealt with all the support and troubleshooting and returned to site once a solution was found.

From the initial consultation to the completed running installation working as expected there were no surprises which means I was very happy. We added an additional 4 solar panels to our roof which few companies would do along with a GivEnergy 9.5kWh battery. Alan was very helpful with all my questions and and understanding of how the installation would go. Having had it during the winter with one power outage I wish we added the capabilty for the battery to power the house during an outage, and also got the bigger Tesla battery. I have found the GivEnergy software not as good as I would had hoped for. Alan provided proposals for both the Tesla battery and backup power but I went for the cheaper options.

From initial introduction to final smooth install all went extremely well. Impressed with Alan's knowledge and
'no pressure' sales. Delighted with all services and already, after seven months, seeing payback with givenergy 9.5kw battery 4.2 kw solar array. Would have no hesitation in recommending Renew Able Solutions.
