The Renewable Energy Saving Group Ltd. (Formerly Renewable Maintenance UK Ltd. Dissolved via voluntary strike-off 02 Dec 2025) See Companies House records
On 13th March 2025 I was persuaded, by a salesman from Renewable Maintenance UK Limited, to replace my solar panels and pay £2000 deposit by bank transfer. On consideration I realised this was totally unnecessary work and on 15th of March, under the terms of their contract, I cancelled the order. They replied that they would refund the £2,000 deposit by the 1st of April.
This did not happen and after several weeks I received a call from the operations manager, who offered to do two jobs that they knew I needed, fitting bird protection wire and cleaning and resurfacing the panels. They said after these were done they would refund £500 of the deposit, to which I foolishly agreed. They fitted the bird wire on 22 April but the workmen said they hadn’t been told to do the cleaning and hadn’t brought that equipment. After repeated excuses-(too hot, too wet, etc) the company cleaned and resurfaced the panels on 26 September. Now the work is completed the renamed company continued to prevaricate and have failed to repay the £500 balance of the deposit.
