Bad. I have been asking for the refund. And nobody is responding

Very bad experience with this rent-a-car company. I would strongly advise others to be careful.
First, I was given a different car than the one I booked. Then they charged me 280 AED for collection, even though the listing clearly stated that delivery was free and have informed me that even the collection is free. On top of that, they deducted another 280 AED for car washing, despite the fact that I returned the car clean and in the same condition as when I received it.
Now they are not responding to any of my messages regarding the status of my security deposit.
This experience has been extremely frustrating and feels very unfair. Until now my deposit issue remains unresolved. I hope the company addresses this immediately and stops treating customers this way.
I would recommend others to think twice before renting from them.

If there's only less than 1-Star, that's what they DESERVE. This company is very poor! in terms of communication and transparency. They will do all the delaying tactics for returning the deposit, and they will charge you a HUGE amount for the car wash and pick up, so TERRIBLE. Never! rent from this company.

THE WORST OF THE WORST

If we could turn back time we will NEVER rent car from here even if they BEG us to take it for FREE. They will try all sneaky ways to charge back X5 X10 unreasonably. They told you to sign the paper before you can read them then in there all tricky unreadle terms were put in small words they will make you pay a lot later.

Everyone from this company has the worst attitude towards the customers. Their main goal is to sneak their hidden charges on the customers and say because customers do not read their terms ( written in very small words on a piece of paper they made you sign before reading it).

Cars return the SAME condition when given back but they will charge 280 AED because of no receipt for washing the car ( we had the car washed at the mall).

Very bad experience
At the time of rent a car for 2 days
All charges they taken in advance with 1000 AED security .
After one month when I ask to return my security 1000 AED,
They deducted 50 AED for Admin fee.
Very very bad service.
I suggest to all respected people please discuss in advance and I suggest to Moosa rent a car service please inform in advance for Admin fees 50 AED .

Mossa car Rental is purely scam car rental where 100% guaranteed dont refund the deposit, and deduct money for various fraudulent reasons. Complain to Ajman Consumer Protection Agency and togather lets froce the Government to revoke their trading licence under fraudulent scam activities.

My deposit has not been refunded. What is very concerning is there are multiple complaints addressing the same issue! I have communicated to various employees at the company with no action taken. What needs to be done dor this company to comply with Dubais service standards?

Absolutely unacceptable experience with Moosa Rent a Car. The pricing was misleading, and I was charged hidden fees that were never disclosed upfront. The entire process was disorganized, communication was poor, and when I questioned the unexpected charges, the staff were unprofessional and dismissive.

This experience felt deceptive and dishonest. I regret renting from them and strongly warn others—especially tourists—to stay away to avoid unnecessary stress and surprise charges.

They will put in clauses many stuff to charge u,as they ask me for 280 for not cleaning the car in adnoc with a recipit , it is one of the clauses. There is 60 more as this one , be aware

I'm actually looking fot negative rating options, these guys are fraud, I even dont understand that dubai is such a safest country in the world and how come these scammers still existing??? Guys this is a heads up to all, never ever approach these two partners (Moosa/Houston rent a cars)

My experience with Mousa Rent Car was very disappointing.
I paid 1000 deposit as requested, but when returning the car they deducted money without giving a clear explanation.
From the beginning, they didn’t clearly explain the contract terms or what I needed to do. The car was delivered to me as agreed, but later they changed their words and tried to act smart about the details.
Overall, very poor communication and lack of transparency. I do not recommend renting from them unless you have everything written and clearly explained in advance.

One of cheater in rent car market , I have personal experience and for car cleaning they are charging 295 aed by saying VIP service .

They are charging like anything and taking advantage to have advance in hand .

SCAM ALERT- DONT DEAL WITH THESE FRAUDSTERS

I hired a car for a single day. They advertised with a different name HOX RENT A CAR with whatsapp 0525521140. At the time of signing the contract thats when i realised its Moosa Rent a car. The contract is written in tiny text and yet its their door way to fraud. Many conditions are stated therein to trap you. After 2 months im still waiting even for my security refund and they keep giving silly excuses and ghosting. Im taking it up with DED and Dubai police. These are criminals. Dont deal with Hox Rent A car, Moosa Rent a car . You will regret it.

I need to raise a complaint, I rented a car from your company and I didn’t receive my deposit and your staff won’t to refund my deposit

DANGER !!! GANGSTERS !!! Why ..
1. They rented a car, that was not Registered since 2022 !
2. Fake fines, each time 250AED !
3. The car looked like a toilet, full of burned cigarette marks, it was a flooded car, the entire Ac is full of fungus.
4. Various multiple accounts to contact you.
5. Multiple Companies, handling the same account.

This is a scam. They don’t give you the car you book. And no customer service at all. There are lots of other companies don’t choose this one.

Very disappointing experience. I rented a car for one day and was promised that my refundable deposit 1000 would be returned within the agreed time, but I’m still waiting for 12 days after the deadline. I’ve been following up repeatedly, and each time I’m told it will be processed soon, yet nothing happens. This company does not honor its own refund policy and shows poor customer service. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Review: If I could give them ZERO in the review I will do.
This company is a complete fraud! They cheated me, took not one but two deposits, and refused to return them. On top of that, they double-charged me for Salik toll fees and even threatened to report me to court for payments I don’t owe.
They operate under these names:
- HMA Supervisor VIP Rent a car
- Houston Rent a car
- Moosa Rent a car
- Bab Al Madeena Rent a car
Note: Location in Jaddaf but no name for the company on the shop.
They also refused to repair the car on insurance (which is mandatory for a 2026 car), and instead tried to make me pay out of pocket. Even when there was a police report filed against an unknown person, they still tried to push the liability on me.
Very Rude staff and no respect for the customers.
Deposits are chased for months and months and imaginary fees are created with non sense.
This business is a scam operation – they trap customers with hidden charges, keep deposits, and use threats to extort more money.
⚠️ Avoid Houston & Mousa Rent a Car at all costs!
Everyone who has dealt with them should report this company to Ajman DED being the authorities responsible for their licensing , consumer rights, and even human rights offices to stop their fraudulent practices.
All Victims should unite and make a complain to the authorised bodies to stop them from such practices. We are in a country of Justice and other victims will suffer the same situation if we don’t act right away.
