Good Value and prompt response when finally needed
I have used Rental Cover for 8 rentals since 2021. They offer a good value 3rd-party Excess insurance when compared to the rates offered by the Rental Companies to reduce the excess. I have always had prompt replies to any email inquiries. I have had no incidents in this period until our last rental when a scratch, larger than “fair wear and tear’ criteria was caused to the bumper in a carpark. I was charged a damage repair amount by the rental company (less than the total excess). I provided all of the information requested by Rental Cover and the assessed my claim promptly and paid the excess amount to my account within 5 days of submitting the claim. I would definitely recommend Rental Cover.

Quick and easy claim
I added cdw excess cover as part of my Expedia car hire booking from Bilbao Airport.
Upon collection, Europcar used heavy sales tactics to put doubt in my mind about my RentalCover policy and said only theirs would be guaranteed to remove the excess.
However, I rejected their assertions.
Upon return, Europcar identified one extra minor scratch for which I was charged. I put in a claim to RentalCovers and it was all settled within 2 days. Would definitely use again.

Quick to take your money, slow to pay it back. Only told me the cover wasn't valid after I'd paid for it and then expect me to wait 25 days to get it back. Absolute joke.

DO not book with this company .. they are impossible to reach and force you as a 3rd party to get insurance and then say you need BASIC insurance as well from the car agency or their insurance is not valid!
