I rented overseas with a car rental company I didn't know, so chose to take the RentalCover.com coverage through Booking.com. Turned out to be a great decision, as the rental car company was suspect, and ended up charing me over $700 for two very minor door dings. When I arrived home, I easily uploaded all the required documentation to Rentalcover.com, and my claim was approved in three days. Deposit back to my bank account made me whole. Very thankful.

Very affordable

TRASH. BUYER BEWARE. What they don’t tell you when booking with Orbitz. Coverage applies to US Residents ONLY. Policy states and their claim denial email quoted, IF a claim is filed and found to be ineligible for coverage premium will be refunded. Ghosted on follow-up emails, no refund and claim inaccessible in their system.

Really easy to use the online claim form. Claim was settled quickly.

They don't pay extra unauthorized charges from the rental like they announce

They were fast to respond. The claim page was easy to navigate and understand. They payment was made immediately, I didnt even wait for 5 minutes.

Easy to book, reasonable rates

I was initially worried after my rental car windshield was damaged by road debris during a trip, especially since the rental company charged over $1,300 for the repair. The claim process took about two weeks overall, but RentalCover did reimburse the full eligible amount as promised.
Their pricing was much cheaper than buying insurance directly from the rental company, and their communication throughout the process was polite and professional. They requested a few additional documents along the way, but once everything was submitted, the claim was processed successfully.
Overall, I’m very relieved and grateful for the support. I would definitely consider using RentalCover again.

Going into it I thought it was another insurance company where I’m going to have to fight with them as they nickel and dime you at each corner. To my amazement and satisfaction, as long as you have each document they require, prove the items they ask for, it was as smooth as transaction I could have asked for. From submission to payment was under 24 hours and would have been close to 12 hours had I not waited to complete the payment information! 100% will use RentalCover.com in my future rental car or other travel needs!

The process was very simple and easy. They delivered on everything they promised beautifully and quickly. My claim was reviewed, approved, and paid within just a few hours of submission. I was so impressed I can't stop telling people about it. It was so different than what one expects.

I always buy car insurance for rental cars in Mexico and have never had to use it before. On this most recent trip, we hit a speed bump and scraped the front bumper. We were charged by the rental car company and when they said I needed to contact the insurance company to get reimbursed, I was nervous that I wouldn't see my money again. Rental Cover's claims process was easy to complete and I had my refund within 3 days. What a dream.

Have used RentalCover for car and small campervan rentals all over the world. A super easy purchase experience and WAY cheaper than other options.
Have had 2 claims (both flat tires which needed replacing) and both were covered no problem once we provided all the paperwork (through the easy web claims portal).
Highly recommended!!!
