BEWARE OF REO Lead Solutions - Bronx, NY
I am unable to recommend REO Lead Solutions, and I would caution anyone considering allowing REO Lead Solutions into their home. Representatives of REO Lead Solutions arrived at my residence to perform a mold assessment. I was present and asked for New York State licensing credentials before granting access, as state law requires. None could be produced. One representative was on the phone during the visit asking what she should say in order to be let in. REO Lead Solutions' subsequent written communications misrepresented that visit, claiming no one had been home. Searches of the New York State Department of Labor and Department of State databases returned no mold assessment or remediation license for the company itself. Only a bare LLC registration, with no website and no verifiable record of prior work. I also found court judgments against the entity for workers' compensation violations. When I raised these findings, REO Lead Solutions introduced credentials for a third individual who had never appeared at my door, in documents that were internally inconsistent. After I stated the matter was closed, the contact did not stop. The repeated misrepresentations, shifting personnel and paperwork, and persistence after I ended communication were inappropriate and, in my experience, amounted to harassment. Verify REO Lead Solutions' entity license through the NYS Department of Labor before granting access to your home. I would not allow them into my home again, and I cannot recommend them.
