The engineer came to service our cooker today
He was so pleasant and professional
Talked us through everything and made sure we were happy
100% recommend this company and their engineers
Having moved in to our house I discovered that the Rangemaster cooker had several issues. I struggled to find anyone to service it because it is dual fuel. I contacted Rangemaster. The lady on the phone was great; I was pulling my hair out at this point and she explained everything, sent me an instruction manual in pdf and organised everything I needed. The engineer from Repairtech was fab. He explained everything that he was doing and ordered the spare parts we needed. He came back to fit everything and I now have a cooker that works. I am very impressed with the service I received. Thank you.
Was away when they came to service the rangemaster. Gave it a clean bill of health yet the light not fixed in main oven and secondary oven doesn’t ignite.
What’s the point?
Their reply doesn’t include the phone call I made on return from holiday asking these self same points. Sadly having two kids and a job doesn’t lend itself to chasing for the second time of asking. Just do the job and if not get it fixed on first time of asking. My recent email asking for address on my phone call had the same self-satisfied tone.
Will go to a local specialist or try myself via YouTube

Booked a service via Rangemaster and an engineer arrived via RepairTech. The engineer provided make updates throughout the day regarding his ETA. When the engineer arrived he was courteous, polite and very efficient and even managed to fix another small problem we had with the hob whilst he was here. Probably paid over the odds for the whole service but wanted peace of mind that the service was conducted by a reputable person. Overall pleased with the result.

I was contacted by Repairtech via Rangemaster and found that this service is a waste of time and money. They were very unclear up front how much they will actually charge you for a repair and after paying £168 for an engineer to visit and review the required repairs, they sent another estimate of almost £500, which I wasn’t expecting for a couple of simple fixes on handles that fell off and new spring for the oven catch. What a waste of time and money. If Repairtech could have been more up front about the cost of replacement parts I wouldn’t have agreed to the initial call out and I could have put the £168 towards a more up front and value for money service. Don’t use them, what a rip off.

We had a service carried out on our Rangemaster induction oven, our engineer was extremely efficient, polite and did a fantastic job.
We would use Repair tech again.

Very professional and friendly mechanic, arrived on time, serviced our Rangemaster quickly and efficiently. Was a joy to have him in our house. Would thoroughly recommend REPARtech.

The £168 is literally a call out charge they did no work and have not bothered to call us back to discuss what I suspect is a mis-sale to my elderly mother. I wondered why they want you to pay in advance for a repair!
We did get a call back where they agreed with our complaint and then said it was closed - apparently we couldn't get any money back because we didn't complain before the engineer attended. So a perfect business choice for all you clairvoyants

Was given their name recommended by Montpellier Appliances as a company who could help with a fan for a particular Tumble Dryer.
I called and was connected to their system and the option asked if had specific details on product.
I went to next stage and the voice was we are too busy to help you please try later.
WELL AT LEAST THE MESSAGE DID SAY PLEASE.
Needless to say I wont be dealing with that bunch of COWBOYS.!!!!

Our range totally cut out just after Christmas. Repairtech were very helpful on the phone, but it did take a couple of days to speak to an engineer. However the engineer did call when he said, and arrived as promised. He was able to carry out a fix without needing parts and checked the repair with technical support for our comfort. Thanks for giving us back our cooker!

Incredibly rude staff. I called simply to ask for clarification about how the service works and was made to feel as though this was unreasonable. I was told that it was "obviously not the right company for me," and one member of staff actually hung up on me just for asking about pre-payment. Very disappointing experience.
What went right! Having contacted Repairtech in connection with our 25 year old Falcon Rangemaster with serial numbers, photos, age etc enquiring whether the cooker could be serviced or parts obtained we were told they could send out an engineer, 'the best and most knowledgeable' to assess it for £168. Unbeknownst to us our Range is 'obsolete' in their words, and they knew that before they sent out Luke.
What a con artist. He told us we could pretty much replace everything we wanted to replace then proceeded to try to pull out our Range from its nest at which point I started to get worried and told him to stop. He couldn't get it back and we had to get someone else in to reposition it. He left and no one got back to us. We had to phone the company again, Sam, at which point we were told our Range was 'obsolete'. My problem with this scenario is that they knew from the outset that my cooker was obsolete and parts were impossible to source yet sent out their engineer knowing full well they couldn't help us. What a rip off and highly unprofessional and a total waste of £168 for a 15 minute visit with nothing to show for it. Sadly, after many letters, they have not backed down and the customer is not right. Customer service is non existent and I would warn you against using these people. They are useless.
What really was the cherry on the cake was that I managed to source one part that they said was obsolete and they haven't even bothered to ask what that part is or where it can be obtained for future customers. I rest my case!

Remarkably quick and efficient. I wrote an email on Sunday and was telephoned early Monday morning. The engineer who came ( only a couple of days later) was extremely helpful and
Competent and sorted everything. Very pleased with service.

A speedy, courteous and efficient service. I called Rangemaster initially to inquire about a safety check for our 23 year old Classic 90. With new safety measures for gas fuelled stoves, we weren't sure if it would pass safety standards today. One of our rings was producing soot and we had stopped using it, initially thinking we would have to purchase a new Rangemaster. The person I spoke to at Rangemaster discussed my options. The first being a check by a partner company to ascertain if the cooker was still safe to use. The second, a check plus repair if appropriate. We went for the latter. New parts fitted, seals around oven doors. Full m.o.t basically. For a few hundred pounds we can continue to use this beautiful and fully functional cooker! Saving at least 2k for the modern version upgrade. It would have been such a waste to send this cooker to the dump as due to modern safety standards, it could never be refitted into another home. So for anyone looking to get a safety check done on an old cooker, it's definitely worth while. Thank you Rangemaster. 😊

What a great experience. I contacted Repairtech about our very unusual expensive French cooker. Kate (customer service advisor) listened carefully and took trouble to find an engineer with the relevant experience. Jason attended very soon and was brilliant. He wasn’t going to leave till it was fixed. To my amazement he worked his magic and we are cooking with gas once again. Highly recommended.

Sadly I can't share in everyone else's positive reviews. The 4 week lead time I was told about is now beyond 10 weeks. Other than Kate (thank you Kate) no one else at the service desk has returned calls they promised. We are still waiting and I am having to chase daily.

We were always anticipating a long lead time for the fascia and never shared concerns about that. The four week lead time for the door (which you failed to mentioned in your reply post) and halting of it being delivered plus extremely poor communication is the main issue.

I spoke with a rep on September 11th who insisted upon a £255 payment before arranging service of our range. Despite the T&C stating an engineer will be in touch within 1-2 business days, we have heard nothing from the engineer and I am back to chasing Repair Tech. T&C: Payment is taken in advance of the visit. Upon confirmation of receipt of payment, the Engineer will contact you within 1 - 2 working days to arrange the visit (Northern Ireland will be 2-3 working days.
