A WiFi operated thermostat

I purchased a WiFi thermostat and receiver to replace a Hive system that was unable to operate consistently within my property due its construction and size, due to the system operating on a weak Zigbee signal.
The purchase price of the system, £101, including postage is appreciable less than the Hive product which is £164.98, including stand, if purchased via Screwfix.
To date, the system is operating as expected, as the thermostat and receiver are connected by a good WiFi signal.
