Two scammers texted me using the same script insisting on this bogus report. So many crooks out there. Be careful.

Scammers messaged me trying to get me to buy a ReportSHQ report as a condition of buying my truck. I offered them a Carfax report but they insisted the SHQ report was better. I called them out on their scam after several lengthy and obviously pre-written responses were send shortly after I sent a message questioning their validity. Their response was basically an admission "Lol!".

I was trying to sell my car and some random person contacted me seems like he is very interested but later on he shared the link and asked me to buy this report.
So beware

100% scam website. When selling my car, I encountered many texters requesting to buy report from this website and also other sites like globalautoreports.com, about 10 of them in total.
When I said that I have a Carfax report, they insisted that this one is "better". All of the texters were claiming they have to "arrange their ride tomorrow". This particular one was very pushy, trying to explain that it is a "legitimate site" and he is a genuine buyer. All of them would text you a website link offering car VIN reports for 30-40$.
Do not proceed to buy any reports from any of them. You may not only be losing this amount and getting a bogus report, but they can go shopping with your card info.

Same experience. They practically admitted they have people pretending to be potential buyers asking for the report for you to buy it and pay for.

SCAM! I had multiple people trying to sell me on this garbage. If anyone wants anything other than carfax or even slightly insists, run.

100% a scam. Had a scammer with a 613 area code try to buy a part of a vehicle from me. He was trying to get me to get a “report” which doesnt make sense for this part. Once i declined and said it was a legit part and im a legit seller and we can meet at the safe exchange designated spot at the local police station, he stopped responding. Do not fall for this.

Edit: within 3 hours of the first txt msg, i got 2 more, 613 and 343 area codes. All the same exact format to the T. All ottawa area codes, all with the same copy and paste the title of my ad in their first response and all want a report from the fake website.

Scam to use this service by owner of the website acting they are interested in your car. Not sure if even legit, or they hack your credit card.

The company has employees that are scammers in that they falsely pose as buyers trying to con you into buying a report from them.
Also VINSKING.com is another scammer trying to push you to buy report from them, on top of that watch for SOFT VIN LAB tried to scam me…
