I can whole heartedly recommend Darren…

I can whole heartedly recommend Darren for his patience, understanding and belief that I could approach the way I dealt with stressful day to day situations differently. Darren really helped me to recognise that my anxiety and OCD went hand in hand. Over the course of 8 sessions, he helped me to understand my self and my reactions better and together we worked through several different strategies for managing my anxiety and OCD. I literally feel a very different person who is much more able to cope with the pressures of life as a consequence. Darren was flexible with appointments and supportive and attentive throughout each session. I would really recommend Darren for anyone that needs support and understanding with their mental health.

Resurgence Psychotherapy Review

I came to Darren during a challenging period of my life to help me process distressing memories from recent, traumatic events. From day one, Darren was attentive, kind and genuine. Darren guided me through EMDR sessions with patience and respect, and the effect of those sessions has been monumental. I have always felt that I had a safe space during my sessions with Darren to properly express and describe the pain I was going through, and always felt that I was taken seriously and my feelings validated, as well as being given useful tools to navigate my challenges. It's not easy to find a therapist with whom you feel at ease so quickly, but Darren is a rare gem, and I can't recommend him enough.

Complex PTSD recovery

I began working with Darren late last year for context I was a serving Police officer for 24 years and 11 years ago I was medically retired with severe complex PTSD and clinical depression, I had reached out to Police care before but found the support I received with extremely poor, This all changed when I reached out a third time Darren is one of most relatable, straight forward people I have ever met, it was through the darkness of this horrific injuries that I was shown a light, he understood the gravity of my condition and together we charted a course to finally being better which is what I so very hoped for an absolutely stellar man with an easy going nature and it is through this work I can finally after a lifetime of poor mental health that I can see an end,

Thankyou mate

Therapy Review

Darren has been excellent for my journey off the back of a referral from NHS OP Courage. He quickly developed a rapport with me and got me over the hurdle of PTSD related items from 2021.

Honestly can’t thank him more than enough for changing my outlook, coping mechanisms and direction of my mental health.

He changed my life!

Working with Darren has been truly life-changing. I came to him struggling with PTSD, unsure if anything could really help me move forward. From the beginning, Darren created a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space that made it easier to open up.

Through EMDR sessions, I was able to process traumatic memories in a way I never thought possible. Darren guided me with compassion and skill, always checking in to make sure I felt grounded and in control. His calm presence and deep understanding of trauma made a huge difference in my healing.

I can honestly say I’ve experienced significant emotional relief and a new sense of clarity since working with him. If you're considering EMDR or looking for a therapist who truly listens and cares, I can’t recommend Darren enough!

Thank you so much for your kind and courageous words. It has been my pleasure to have been part of your journey, and it means the world to hear that EMDR has made such a positive impact on your mental health.

It takes strength to face the past and resilience to heal. Your feedback means so much, thank you, but I also hope it helps others consider taking that first step.
