Great sight just as described.
I brought some wide square toed ankle boots. I was worrying that because they were coming from China they might not be as described or the size may vary. They were bang on. I am a size 6 but ordered a 6.1/2 so they would be more roomy. The leather is soft and they are very light and comfortable to wear. My only wish they came in other colours 😊

I am so happy that I ordered the pair of shoes for my daughter! It is a pair of very well made Real Leather shoes which I can't find them in the UK. The best thing is that even smaller sizes like size 1, size 2 are available for a lot of their shoes! This is really great for people with smaller feet! My daughter says they are so comfortable! We will use their service again!

I have been searching for a pair of wide toe box shoes for a long time. There are shoes that are wide but loose at the ankles. Eventually after searching on the net, I found this pair of shoes that looked right for me.

They have a wide toe box, fits well at the ankles. The leather is soft too. They are comfortable to walk in. It seems like they have been customer made for me. I would have liked the heel to be a bit higher but it is a minor issue.

I would recommend them to anyone who have wide toes with narrow heel area. And the price of £62 was right for me.

I am cautious buying shoes online so contacted Lisa at Customer Services, who was very helpful concerning the sizing. The shoes took quite a long time to arrive (I hadn’t realised they’d be coming from China). But they came well packed and are very comfy. Very nice hand made shoes.

This company pretends to be from the UK , but it really Chinese and you have to return only to China at great expense.
The sizing is off, never has a size 6 not fitted except with this tiny shoe . Do not buy from them .

From ordering through to delivery there was communication from the wonderful Lisa.
I received Green Minimalist Flat Mules after my shoe size was determined (by a first pair of shoes I had ordered).

These are lovely to slip on and slop about the house in! Soft and comfy!

There was a fault in the pair of boots that I bought, and the customer service team were very helpful. Once photographs and details were shared, they offered a re-made and sent a replacement with no quibble. I was very impressed with the service and would definitely buy from Retro Step again.

Ordered two pairs of shoes from this company and both have been exactly as pictured and incredibly comfy, I wear them almost every day. Customer service is very accommodating and give very speedy responses too. I was a bit unsure when first ordering from here since it’s not a company I’d heard of before, but I actually highly recommend this company to my family and friends now.

I have bought 3 pairs of boots from Retrostep - each pair was brilliant. Immediately comfy - no having to ‘wear them in’. The delivery was quick and the service impeccable- sending me personal communications to check everything was to my satisfaction before dispatching the item. Can’t recommend highly enough

Paid £63 for shoes which on arrival were much too small. Customer service responded: 'Our sizes follow the CN (Asian) size system, which can run smaller than standard EU/UK sizes.' So I had ordered size 41 but received much smaller shoes. I then paid £15 to return 3 weeks ago but have neither received refund nor heard from them. No where did I see these details when ordering.

This company makes the most amazing boots and shoes. I have just bought my second pair, my first ones were a soft brown suede retro lace up shoe, I wear these everyday they are so comfortable. I have just invested in a pair of black ankle boots (doc Martin style) they are so soft and lovely to wear,these will definitely be my winter favorites. Very well made, thick soles,finished off to a very high standard. I have struggled to get shoes that don't crush and hurt my feet these are a joy to wear and the company is a joy to order from their workforce should be proud of what they are making, wonderful shoes would definitely recommend. Advertised as leather Mary Jane shoes, but they are synthetic, not leather. Not clear when ordering that they are coming from China, so too expensive to return. Shane as I love the style, but not worth £54.

The shoes are stunning and really comfortable and will definitely buy from this retailer again and very soon

I've just taken delivery of my first pair of Retrostep shoes, and I love them. I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and struggle to get comfortable shoes. These wide toe box shoes with a cushioning but flat sole are perfect. Just be aware that these shoes run small. I'm normally a UK size 6. With these I'm a size 7.

Great quality shoes at unbeaten price. Super happy with my purchase. Shoes fit perfectly if you read size description correctly and check measurements.

Love my shoes from here , they are beautifully made and so comfortable. They were delivered quickly and arrived nicely packaged.
Can't fault anything

The customer service I received from Lisa was phenomenal. She talked me through everything to make sure the fit of the shoes was perfect. Lisa went above and beyond and is a real asset to Retrostep. The shoes are lovely and fit like a glove thanks to Lisa's guidance.

Ordered mary jane flat shoes. Proved to be small and narrow. To obtain refund it is necessary to return to china. Mail cost £23. This is not explained when purchasing. Response from "lisa" seems to be our fault shoes did not fit. Altogether a most unsatisfactory experience. Will NOT recommending them or ordering again.

I bought a pair of shoes from retrostep but a few days later received two emails. One saying the item was out of stock and another saying that I,the customer, had requested a refund (I did not request a refund because I had thought the shoes were on their way). I then realised they had taken the payment (usually a company will cancel the transaction immediately). I contacted them and was sent a message saying that I had been refunded, but days later I am still out of pocket and with no shoes. They are also marketed as being local to the UK but I noticed Chinese characters in the response I was sent. Never again and I’d advise never to buy from them.
