School during the pandemic can be difficult ,especially for someone like me, who is a perfectionist and overly critical of themselves. I was starting an accelerated program and was studying so much, but was still unable to get the scores that I wanted for my quizzes and tests. Fearful that I wouldn't receive the grade that I wanted by the end of the term, I sought out Van's guidance and help. As I was allowing my failures and the future to intrude my thoughts, Van helped reframe them to focus more on solutions, and how to do better on the next quiz. I tend to focus a lot of the negative thoughts and be very critical of myself, and Van not only helped pull me out of that cyclic thinking, but she did it in a way that was kind and motivating. After our session, I scored very high on my next quiz and called her to give her the good news. I would highly recommend her.
