Would not recommend. Administrative scheduling and communication is poor. Our son actually did worse on the SAT than before the prep. No follow up when we sent the scores when we complained.

I knew that both my children needed additional help for preparation with their upcoming exams. Diane Johnson patiently listened to all of the information regarding both our children's needs. She took notes and relayed everything to their tutor, Logan Ainger. Different tutoring options were explained. Our children's sessions were carefully tailored to their individual requirements. Diane is consistently available to answer any questions that arise. She checks in periodically to make sure we are on the right path. If anything is amiss, she quickly finds a solution. She makes scheduling very easy. Logan is amazing with my 2 kids. He is friendly, encouraging, and extremely knowledgeable. He always has something positive to say and builds their confidence with each session. He motivates the children to continue their learning independently during the week by assigning a reasonable amount of "homework". He is also available to me whenever I have any questions. I am so grateful that my children are in such capable hands. I highly recommend Revolution Prep and, in particular, Diane and Logan!

Customized for specific needs my child was having vs a one-size fits all approach. Tailored tutoring to his exact challenges. He was a high performing student to begin with and Revolution helped take it up a notch...to PERFECT!

Valdenis Iancu (Val) has gone out of her way to find common interests with my child, and those connections have really made a difference. My child trusts Val and is more attentive and open-minded as a result. David Zimblist was really thoughtful about the pairing, which I appreciate.
For us, executive coaching has been much more effective than any other accommodations or recommendations we've received.

It was a pleasure working with David Zimbalist. My son benefited immensely from the private sessions with Brian Cohen, and helped increase his SAT score by 150 points in just 2 months.

Our tutor, Morgan was fantastic! He understood our child's particular learning needs and he made the prep fun and relatable. It was a really great experience!

My son used Revolution's tutoring service to prepare for the SAT. We did not have much time, but James Corngold did a great job fitting enough sessions in and getting our son ready for the test. His score improved significantly from the practice test. The tutoring service is good for families with busy schedules. It's very flexible and there are many different options. I would strongly recommend this service and James for your test prep needs!

This is a terrible service.

My son was supposed to take a practice SAT today with the rest of his classmates, but wasn't able to due to some sort of malfunction in their system. We logged in, we were able to see the online test administrators, but when we went to select the test from the drop-down menu, there was nothing in the drop down box.

I understand that there are sometimes issues with online test taking, but that's not why I'm upset. I'm upset because I called the 877 number and spoke to Rebecca Rayburn, who wasn't helpful, and just forwarded me to someone's voicemail. I tried calling back, and she didn't answer. I tried this twice.

I then call from a different phone number and she immediately picks up. I asked if there's someone in the IT department I can speak to, she then forwards me to someone else's voicemail. I call back, just to see if there's an actual person that I can talk to and get information about when the next test will be, and she doesn't pick up. Again, I called twice, no answer.

At this point I'm fairly convinced she's avoiding my phone call. I call back from a third different phone, and she immediately picks up! I asked her if there is a physical person I can talk to that can help me find a solution, and then she says, there is no one available to talk to until Monday. WHY DIDN'T SHE TELL ME THIS THE FIRST TWO TIMES I SPOKE WITH HER?

Then to top it all off, she then tells me that she will just send me the test the email and he can self proctor. AGAIN, why wasn't this offered earlier? Even if this is a last resort, she should have put in the effort to do so when she KNEW there wasn't going to be anyone to help me.

So just reiterate, she avoided my phone calls and kept forwarding me to voicemails where she knew no one was going to be available.

My daughter has had success with Revolution Prep. The second semester of Accelerated Pre-Calc proved challenging. Her teacher gave the class a video lesson for each unit -basically, the students taught themselves. Her RP tutor, Nicholas U., was great at explaining material she did not understand. She was able to maintain an A in the class. Nicholas also helped review ACT math problems. Her ACT math score increased by 3 points during her time with Nicholas. Many thanks!!

My family’s experience with Revolution Prep has been fantastic! I could not ask for anything more. These guys are the Pros! Within less than three weeks, we’ve already seen significant improvement (50 points) on my daughter’s practice SAT score! My only regret is that we didn’t use Revolution Prep sooner! Del Ali (Academic Advisor) and Liz Garcia (tutor) have been all we could possibly ask for (super effective, communicative, and helpful)!

For many years of graduate and postgraduate teaching I have known tutors of all types and systems.
But recently I have become acquainted with Resolution Prep where my goddaughter has had tutoring over the last two years of high school, earning her a B average with an A in Physics upon graduation. She had slipped from her honor roll accomplishment and really stalled.
Mr. Twohig and his cadre of remarkable teachers were dedicated to my goddaughter’s work and with extensive kindness and caring led her to the excellence she had previously known. It took patience and confidence in her ability to awaken her commitment and desire to succeed.
Mr. Twohig and every tutor created a unique learning plan for her academic accomplishments and her personal development. Our whole family is delighted and immensely grateful.

Our daughter scored a 5 on her AP history exam. We are beyond pleased with the results!! Patrick went above and beyond to tutor our daughter. Sue followed up methodically to ensure all was going well- because she truly cares about the students. Thank you Patrick and Sue for helping our daughter achieve her goal!!!

At my daughter's school, they offer a high school level Algebra 1 course for 8th graders who meet the requirements.
In order to be considered for the class, interested students had to take a placement test. Due to her Revolution Prep tutoring for the ISEE test, my daughter advanced so much in math that she scored the second highest in her entire grade on the placement test!!!! She scored higher than the students who had taken pre-Algebra this year.

Don't think once your kids are in college they won't still need Rev Prep....My son as a freshman had to take a very difficult "weed out" business math course and they let any TA teach the class without any teaching experience. RP saved us....the expertise of tutors is second to none and the online platform is ideal. Both Andrew Brown and Zach Stone were completely knowledgeable in the difficult topics and our advisor Jaime was super patient dealing with a teenager across the country. Never would have passed this class without them not to mention probably the smallest of college expenses to date!

What a difference a great tutor makes! Becky is encouraging and knowledgeable. She was able to support my son in French and now he is willing to move on to take one more year of French versus giving up. We are grateful for the support Becky has given him.

The entire process was tailored to my son's needs based on his previous results on the ACT. Shannon Norris was in constant communication with me as the sponsor of the program making sure my son was engaged and his needs were being met. His tutor, Robert Brundage, really spent time getting to know my son before he started the coaching process, and that helped build a great working relationship. Robert followed up with me via email and a video after every session so that I knew what they covered and could help encourage my son to work on the assignments that were given to him as homework. My son had a personal goal for his score and he achieved that on his next attempt! Excellent program and I highly recommend the individual coaching to any student wanting to improve their score at a high level.

Becky K. was our tutor at Revolution Prep and she was a fantastic tutor. She was engaging, thorough and very knowledgeable. Her communication with the parents and the students was very informative and helpful to the students and their families.

My son has really benefited from the tutoring with Wilbur Dominguez. He now has an A in AP Physics and AP Calculus. Revolution Prep makes it easy to schedule sessions and the one on one focus helps my high schooler focus.
