As Sober As I Want To Be

I had a wonderful experience with Ria Health. My coach and I very much bonded. The level of support you receive sets you up for success. They are there to help you change your relationship with alcohol, not necessarily quit. They work with you and your goals. In my case I wanted to control my intake but still have the freedom to have the occasional drink without feeling like I had failed.

Not very helpful

While not useless, RIA health was really not that helpful. The good news is that there is hope. Keep searching for what works for you. I am coming up on 7 months sober and I feel great. Hang in there!

A new me.

There is great power in having autonomy over one’s recovery. Ria Health has provided me with stepping stones and support to make what was once impossible, possible. There is positivity in every level of care. I’m evolving into a new me. Thank you RIA!

The Program Works!

Isaiah is easy to talk to, and he always responds with knowledge and compassion and without any hint of judgment. He and the entire RIA team have been incredibly helpful as I have worked to change my drinking habits and achieved 9 months alcohol-free.

If I could give a zero star I would

If I could give a zero star I would, this company states they use insurance and continues to bill me even though I canceled in July. They also claimed to take insurance and put me on a plan but my deductible was met in July too so I shouldn't be getting billed anything. This is a complete scam don't ever use them please seek other help.

Scam Artists

This is one of many telehealth companies that care nothing for their patients and are simply trying to scam people out of their money in exchange for a very expensive prescription. They tout affordable payment plans (be careful I was promised $300 per month, but was billed $864) and counseling sessions, but the counseling sessions lasted 17 minutes and simply had someone tell me to go speak with a licensed psychiatrist. My response- “why am I paying for you? I thought that’s what I was paying for”. Total scam of a company. If you need this medicine save yourself some money and much time and see your usual doctor. The only thing this “alcohol treatment” company did was make me want to drink from all this hassle.

Great program.

My experience with Isaiah Cruz has been great. He has helped me secure medications from alternative pharmacies when my regular pharmacy could not fulfill my prescription. He has encouraged me to establish a relationship with my primary care doctor after many years without a visit. And, most importantly, he and my coach have helped me to moderate my drinking to a few drinks a week when I had been drinking heavily everyday before starting the program. I would give 5 stars had it not been for the terrible customer service Ria provides outside the medical professionals and coaches.

Hello my name is Diego

Hello my name is Diego. I joined RIA health because I could not stop drinking on my own. I was on the verge of getting a divorce
because of it. I've been with RIA Health since december 14th 2023.
I have not, I had a drink since?
They have a great support/counseling staff, and medical doctor's. I highly recommend this place. My healthcare covers most of the cost. I would recommend you start this if you have an addiction. It has given me a new life path to follow.

Well-Rounded Approach to Improvement

Ria Health is a well-rounded approach to developing a more healthy relationship with alcohol. For some, this means cutting back. For me, it meant near total abstinence, and I was able to achieve this goal with help from Ria’s multiple resources like initial medication, regular coaching appointments, and group sessions to discuss common issues and obstacles to living a happy and healthy life, free from substance abuse.

Alcohol free for 7 weeks

Ria Health has worked great for me! I understand it is a different experience using telehealth and may not be the right choice for some. However I have absolutely loved the support from Ria. All has been top notch quality care in my opinion. The doctors have been wonderful to work with and the staff is very supporting, kind and on the ball with any requests or help I needed. I would recommend this program to anyone that is looking to kick the alcohol habit. I have been drinking heavily for about 7 to 8 years and very heavy the past 3 years. I do not crave alcohol any longer and I will never take a drink again. I feel great now that I have quit drinking. It's amazing how easy it is for it to get out of control. I wish everyone best of luck in kicking this habit and I'm confident Ria Health can help you be successful if you give it a chance.

It’s working for me!

The RIA program is really working for me. I am more conscious of how much I drink and have much less desire to drink. I appreciate my counselor and the way she works with me on my goals. The application on my phone is easy to use to schedule or reschedule my meetings with her.

The meetings with PA to go over my naltrexone dosage are short and to the point. The PA takes time to discuss my questions about dosage and timing. This far no side effects at all.

I’m grateful I found this program and tell my acquaintances about my experience, and recommend highly.

They do not provide evidence based car and false advertising…

They do not provide evidence based care. This is the second telehealth company that we tried that advertised naltrexone and then said it wasn’t an option once we had an appointment. They offer people 2nd and 3rd line treatments that don’t work as well instead of 1st line treatments that are based in research. They advertise as providing naltrexone and then won’t provide it. False advertising and bad medical care. People with AUD shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get treatment that actually works. I will tell all of my patients, family and friends to avoid this company.

We are sorry you feel that way about the program. Our physicians do a full workup on patients before considering any prescriptions. We hope you will consider speaking to one of our physicians.

RIA is the best.

Just the information and the way it was delivered. Although I am a motivated person once focused the coaches and doctors kept me on point.
