Wearing out quickly
I bought Rieker shoes earlier this year. I wear them 1-2 days a week, and they are already worn out to the point I will have to dispose of them before the year is over.
I also bought Rieker sandals a couple of years ago. Even though I wear them only occasionally, they are not holding up as well as I would have expected.
Never delivered
I was so disappointed with the service exacerbated by DHL failures to find a simple address. I ordered and paid for shoes on 25 August. A few days later I was informed that they had been despatched. Nothing arrived so I contacted Rieker to say the item had not arrived. They chased and said DHL couldn't find the house so I replied with an idiots guide. Again, nothing. Then after another query from me I was informed the shoes could not be found and I would be refunded. It is now 9 September,- 16 days later and my account has not been refunded. All I wanted was a simple pair of shoes bought online. I will not be wearing Rieker shoes in the future.

They are well made and very comfortable. Arrived in perfect condition and well package.
Incorrect order sent
I ordered a pair of sandals direct from Rieker. When my order arrived it was a man’s pair of shoes. I know that mistakes happen but this Company really need to up their game as far as customer service is concerned! I telephoned them to advise of the incorrect order being sent and the lady on the end of the phone said she would get someone to ring me. This did not happen so I rang them again today. No apology given I just got told to return the incorrect shoes and they would give me a refund. Despite it being their mistake I would have to place another order by which time the item may not still be in stock of course. If they practised good customer service they would have sent me the correct shoes immediately. I really am not happy having to make two expensive phone calls and a trip to the Post Office. No wonder Companies are going under with such poor customer service!
Painful shoes
I have numerous pairs of Riekers shoes but I'm afraid to say this will be my last pair what on earth has gone wrong with them,I've had pairs which made my legs ache before but my latest,black with a patent toe and heel have given me terrible knee pain,it took a while to realise the problem was caused by the shoes, I don't know what shoes to buy in future,what a shame that such a good brand has been ruined

What a lovely shopping experience. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. Such a range of shoes to choose from I came away with a fabulous pair of sandals. I will recommend the Market Harborough store to all my friends 😊

Customer Service Cancelled Order
I ordered a pair of trainers on 23/06/2025, they took the money. I received an email to say estimated delivery 26/06/2025. As I had not received them by 27/06/2025 or any updates to when I may receive them, I contact them. I then received an email to say the order had been cancelled because they were out of stock, which make no sense because I ordered them when they were in stock, they said they issued a refund. However I find this awful customer service, Why were they in stock when I ordered them (perhaps their systems need to be updated)?
Why did it take me to email them before they did anything about it?
They haven't really provided a reason for why this happened.
Pink Remonte Trainers
I live in Dublin. Bought a pair of Remonte Shoes from local Retailers Very Uncomfortable. Hurting my feet. They cost me 99eu. Unfortunately I had worn them outdoors before I discovered the problem.

Very poor quality. Prone to disintegration at an early stage.
Be very wary of the durability of Rieker and Remonte footwear. Whilst many of the reviews here appear favourable they are generally posted by people complimenting the shop staff or expressing their satisfaction with their shoes or boots immediately after purchase., The problem arises with the quality of the product which appears in many cases to be not fit for purpose with colouring easily being scuffed and uppers separating from the soles because they are glued rather than stitched on as they are made to look. Rieker hide behind the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which puts the responsibility on the Retailer rather than the manufacturer to resolve problems. Rieker have no moral conscience about the poor quality of their products and are unwilling to entertain any form of recompense even though admitting in writing to me that "my customer experience has not been what they would expect." There are a huge number of complaints on an American Review Site where most customers say they would never buy Rieker again. Be Warned!

Decline in quality
Purchased boots 20th December. Fake leather ‘flaking’ off toe. Returned to concession within 3 months to where I bought them over 3 weeks ago to be told today that it was ‘wear & tear’. Have worn rieker shoes for several years but the last 2 pairs purchased have been faulty now.

Reiker boots don’t last long
Bought very nice boots in favourite colour and hoped for good wear
Unfortunately Reiker boots fell apart and did not flash even one season
Bought them at the private retailer at Isle of Wight, paid cash and did not keep the receipt
After 3 months of wearing Reiker boots fell apart, top part of boots came away from soles. Reading the reviews I don’t even try to complain as don’t hava a receipt
Same as they were comfortable and beautiful
No one manufacture items
