Buyers Beware

First attempts to communicate with this company was ridiculous, basically impossible. Who has a company where customers can contact them and the mailbox stays full. I even had Priceline attempt , which was to no avail. When you arrive you are forced to buy some additional insurance, called loss waiver (if my memory serves me) for an additional 150$, if your insurance company can not add it to your policy . I called my insurance company and they did know anything about this addition service, hadn’t heard of it (my insurance company is one if the top three in the USA), therefore you are forced to purchase especially being on a vacay and desperate and you are in need of transportation. Than the company hrs don’t coincide with your departure time. I think they were 9 to 5. I called, still no answer but the message informs you that there is a 24hr/7 day drop off point. When I arrived at this location, this company is not there, nothing. What a mess. Thank God for a Fox rental driver sitting in his van who tells us that the company moved and assisted us with obtaining the correct location . What a mess especially being you have an early morning flight, TSA issues, trying to get to airport at least 4 hrs early. I will never use this company and probably not Priceline again, because they were no help either when I explained this to them. I asked for an airport onsight car rental place and this is supposedly considered that. Also, you have to walk at least a mile or so through the airport to get to the shuttle. You live and you learn. Believe me, so many people were dissatisfied because this was truly a scam. We were outside discussing the practices that truly needs to be investigated because customers were even being denied use of there own insurance therefore they had to purchase via the company and fees were astronomical if they wanted a vehicle. What an absolute disaster

It’s totally a rental nightmare for me

It’s totally a rental nightmare for me. Paired with Right Car rental and it’s insurance I ended up paying extra $317 on top of the price quoted online for the original car rental contract.
It was a scam, and well designed trap, when you are set in a telephone booth with a computer and a camera watching you, and speaking to you via a poor quality speaker. I was not able to view the contract in paper, they only send it to my email after I signed it. I was pushed by the agent to upgrade the car, add insurance (even I said I had both car insurance and credit card protection), I still got charged!!!

On checking your booking which was made through a third party it appears that your reservation was a basic rate, this rate does not include insurance.
Whilst we welcome customers to use their own insurance if they choose to do so the following will apply:
A copy of the full declaration page must be presented at the rental counter including the deductible amount and stating the customer is covered to drive a rental vehicle. The proof of insurance shown must be valid for a minimum of 45 days in order for it to be accepted. Any insurance from outside of the USA will not be accepted.
Please note we do not enforce insurance on customers at any of our locations. It is important for customers to carefully read and understand the pre-stated terms, which are sent to customers prior to collection by their booking agent which include essential information about insurance requirements specific to each location. Failure to do so may result in unexpected additional charges.
We do encourage all customers to take the time to review the terms thoroughly to avoid any surprises upon arrival.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. They show good deal in the website but when you go to pick up the car they start adding so many extra that at the end cost you so much more that any other company I will never ever try to rent a car here.

Arbitrary additional charges on the rental contract

This car was rented through Expedia and paid in full to Expedia.

Your agent added the following additional charges to the bill :

Senior fee: $69.45
Toll service: $49.95
Liability protection : $124.95 (which I have through my regular car insurance).

I would like to request removal of this charges from my final bill for this rental, as these charges were not mentioned in the original rental contract sold to me by Expedia.

I used expedia to book :(

I used expedia to book, which charged me most of the base cost of the rental, and to expect about 100$ more at check-in. It costs triple that amount. I was also surprised to discover your rental rates are also calculated based on the credit card that you use. I switched cards last minute and saved 50$. I will not be using a third-party rental site again because each company took a piece of my money pie. I'll stick with Turo next time because there are no unexpected and hidden fees.

Overpriced after being pressure to buy…

Overpriced after being pressure to buy the mandatory insurance. Then pressure to buy till access. Then your talking to customer service over a tv screen in a weird park and fly area of the rental car campus. Will never do it again. Never 2 stars is being friendly.

The tolls should be per usage

I was forced to buy basic toll service $9.99/day; however, I only used $3.60 in total the whole time. The tolls should be per usage that was what I want in the beginning; therefore, this is a scam on customers. I would appreciate if you refund me the amount I never used. I plan to report you on social media.

Vehicles are registered under a corporate policy and fitted with transponders. Customers are not permitted to use their own Sunpass or E pass transponder but we do offer various options to purchase the Sunpass. If the customer decides to decline this option, they will be responsible for the payment of all tolls incurred during the rental period and agree to pay an additional admin fee of $25.00 exclusive of applicable taxes each time they use toll roads.

All information regarding the Sunpass is documented within the pre stated terms customers receive upon making a booking.

All of the hidden fees that are only shared with you after you book and the lack of care and flex when you call to let them know you can't make your schedule pick up time. So frustrating

We allow our customers 120 mins grace period after the scheduled pick up time. If the customer has not arrived during this period nor made contact then the reservation will be marked as a no show. If the customer does make contact updating the branch of their situation then our team will do their best to keep the reservation open and assist them.

Mostly self-service

Mostly self-service, you're video calling with someone in a call-center. A lot of extra fees: third party liability waiver and $10 for tolls, plus the actual tolls you use.
